Fans of video games will certainly get their fill at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios, in both Orlando and Hollywood, as Falloutand Five Nights at Freddy’s will both have haunted houses based on the respective franchises. The annual Halloween event, which takes place simultaneously in Orlando, FL, and Hollywood, CA, has always hosted major movie and TV IPs by creating incredibly detailed and immersive haunted houses. The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remasteredis obviously more graphically advanced than the original game, but some of its changes come with big caveats. While I'm skeptical of the whole affair, which overwrites some of the most interesting atmospheric elements of the original style, most of the game does look reasonably good in its own right. When it comes to character models, however, the graphical upgrade has some especially big caveats that I'd rather not see return in any future Bethesda remasters.

The biggest remaster of 2025, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, made a huge splash when Bethesda surprised everyone with a shadow release. With the latest season of the show set to debut at the end of the year, Fallout season two can learn a lot not just from the Fallout: New Vegas game but from the little-known prequel comic that directly leads into its opening moments.

Walton Goggins has already had a successful career for several decades, but his recent streak of TV shows has made him more popular than ever, and Fallout is a big part of that success. Goggins has recently appeared in the acclaimed shows The Righteous Gemstones and The White Lotus, marking two career-best performances for Walton Goggins, and Fallout certainly numbers among that list as well. Ella Purnell's Fallout has been renewed for a third season, and it's setting a big record for the actress after two of her major shows ended in 2024. Ella Purnell plays Lucy MacLean, one of the most important characters in the cast of Fallout. Alongside Walton Goggins and Aaron Moten, she leads Prime Video's adaptation of the Fallout video games to great success. Fallout season 1 set streaming records for Prime Video, and Fallout season 2 was quickly renewed and is highly anticipated after the ending of Fallout season 1.

Fallout season 3 is renewed and the season 2 release window has been revealed. Filming recently wrapped on season 2 of the hit series, which will continue to follow Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell), The Ghoul (Walton Goggins), Maximus (Aaron Moten), and Hank MacLean (Kyle MacLachlan). Fallout season 2's story will continue to expand the scope of the post-apocalyptic setting far beyond what was shown in season 1, which will include the setting of New Vegas.

Fallout star Aaron Moten has revealed how many seasons are planned for the video game adaptation not long after season 2 of the TV show wrapped filming. Season 1 of the post-apocalyptic series was released in April 2024, with the series quickly getting renewed not long after all its episodes dropped. The future of Fallout remains a mystery, but it offers plenty of room to speculate on what unique setting the series could explore moving forward.

The Fallout universe has more than its fair share of tragedy, with nuclear war destroying much of the world and potentially killing billions. However, loss on such a grand scale can sometimes be hard to fathom, and it is often the smaller, more personal stories that end up hitting harder. All of the Fallout games have death as a stark reality of the post-apocalyptic setting, but some are far more emotionally devastating than others.
