Farming the right materials for Clorinde in new characters in Genshin Impact 4.7. While Clorinde and Sigewinne are 5-star units, Sethos is a 4-star character.
Sigewinne is a powerful DPS because she not only deals an immense amount of damage through regular means, but she embraces a Bond of Life mechanic that boosts her damage output. Bond of Life is a debuff that puts the character at risk since they cannot recover HP through regular healing until they clear it, but it also comes with benefits. In Clorinde’s case, Bond of Life changes the way she attacks, the damage it deals, and how powerful her HP restoration is. Before utilizing this at its full potential, however, you need to farm Clorinde’s materials in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact 4.8 Leaks: New Character May Provide A Much-Needed Reaction Buff
Details about a rumored new character in Genshin Impact have arisen, hinting at what may become a much-needed buff to an underused Elemental Reaction.
Farm Materials For Clorinde’s Ascension In Genshin Impact
All Materials For Clorinde Could Be Farmed Before Her Release
The items needed for Clorinde Ascension are relatively simple to obtain, mostly because all of them were already available in-game. As such, players who have been playing for some time may have a stock of some of these items and, as such, will not need to farm too intensely. Nevertheless, some material categories require large numbers of copies, so it is best to know what and where to farm these. The first set of materials used by Clorinde is Transoceanic Pearl and its two evolved forms, Transoceanic Chunk and Xenochromatic Crystal, respectively.
The table below lists all the materials required for Clorinde’s complete Ascension in Genshin Impact, split by Ascension threshold and condensed in full amount at the end:

Transoceanic Pearl, Transoceanic Chunk, and Xenochromatic Crystal all drop from Fontemer Aberrant enemies found across Fontaine. For reference, Fontemer Aberrants are the animal-like creatures found both above ground and underwater. A few examples of these opponents are the seals, known as Blubberbeasts, and the crabs, known as Armored Crabs and Sternshield Crabs. Not too many of these materials are needed for Clorinde’s Ascension, but a large quantity is required for her Talents, so be sure to farm a surplus when exploring Fontaine and eliminating Fontemer Aberrants in Genshin Impact.
As quality needs increase with higher levels, to use the Alchemy Table to transform lower-grade materials into better ones, such as three copies of Transoceanic Pearls into one Transoceanic Chunk.
The second set of materials for Clorinde’s Ascension is specific to her element: the Vajrada Amethyst stones. These items are only used when Ascending Electro characters and this is very much the case with the champion duelist. You can farm Vajrada Amethyst stones from bosses in Genshin Impact that posses Electro powers. This includes the Electro Hypostasis, Electro Regisvine, Thunder Manifestation, and the Millennial Pearl Seahorse, for example. It is recommended that you farm your Vajrada Amethyst stones with Millennial Pearl Seahorse, however. This is because the Fontaine boss drops yet another material needed by Clorinde.
Millennial Pearl Seahorse drops the Fontemer Unihorn material, required in Clorinde’s Ascension. You will need a total of 46 copies to unlock all of the Ascension thresholds, which means you will need to run this boss fight multiple times. As such, it is best if you optimize your farming efforts solely on the Millennial Pearl Seahorse. This way, you can gather all the Vajrada Amethyst stones and Fontemer Unihorn materials from a single type of opponent.

Genshin Impact Natlan Leaks: Pyro Archon Is Stealing Another Character's Best Feature
New details about the Pyro Archon in Genshin Impact’s Natlan have been leaked, hinting at a potentially strong character based on previous releases.
The final type of material you will need for Clorinde’s Ascension is Lumitoile. This is a Local Specialty from the region of Fontaine. The nodes of the starfish-shaped material are mostly located in the Liffey Region, to the far north of Fontaine. Lumitoile can be found both underwater and above ground, though the nodes that are above ground are always located near the shoreline. There are only 79 nodes of Lumitoile in Genshin Impact and they respawn every 48 hours in real life, so optimize your efforts by using the official interactive map on HoYoLAB.
You will likely need to go through three runs of Lumitoile-farming before gathering what you need to fully Ascend Clorinde. This could take up to a week.
Materials To Level Clorinde’s Talents (Abilities) In Genshin Impact
This Process Is Much More Expensive & Time-Consuming
While Ascending Clorinde is the first step in optimizing her, leveling up her Talents is the next one, and a much more expensive one at that. This will require a lot of farming as the item and Mora needs are a lot higher. As was previously mentioned the first materials needed for Clorinde’s Talents are Transoceanic Pearl, Transoceanic Chunk, and Xenochromatic Crystal. As a reminder, these are dropped from the animal-like Fontemer Aberrants found all across Fontaine.
The table below lists all the materials you need to level up all of Clorinde’s abilities in Genshin Impact to level 10:

Clorinde uses the Justice Talent books from Fontaine. Justice Talent books can be farmed in the Pale Forgotten Glory Domain, but only on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. A lot of them are needed, so you will likely face this Domain several times. Do not forget to use the Alchemy Table to transform Teachings into Guides and Guides into Philosophies as the requirements increase. The weekly boss material used to level Clorinde’s abilities is Everamber, which drops from the Guardian of Apep’s Oasis boss in Genshin Impact.
There is a limitation on weekly boss challenges so, even if only 18 copies of Everamber are needed, it may take a while to gather all of them. Alongside Everamber needed at higher levels, Clorinde’s skills will also require Crown of Insight. These are used to take the take her abilities to the final level. Crown of Insight is obtained from limited-time events and reputation-based Offering Systems, like the Sacred Sakura’s Favor.

Genshin Impact Natlan Leaks: Farming Artifacts Is About To Get A Lot Easier
According to a new leak, there may be a system update with Genshin Impact 5.0 and Natlan that will make Artifact grinding a bit easier.
Both her Ascension and Talent-leveling process require some Mora and, while the former does not need too much, the latter can be extremely expensive. If you are ever in need of more Mora, you can always farm Ley Line Outcrops: Blossom of Wealth. If you ever need Character EXP Materials to increase Clorinde’s level between Ascension thresholds, you can farm Ley Line Outcrops: Blossom of Revelation. Farming materials for Clorinde’s Ascension and Talents is not too difficult, but it can be a long and expensive process, so it is best to optimize your gains in Genshin Impact.
