Idk about #9 id say that even in the manwha he always had a clear goal, because he was noticeably the weakest hunter that kept him going he had a family relying on him. His siste rin school and his mom in a coma. To say he didn't have a goal would defeat the purpose of him having a family right? Yes he was driven to make money as a hunter which put him in certain situations, but his goal was to step up for his family when his father disappeared and his mother comatose. Who else was to make money and pay the bills if not him. That was his main purpose of being a hunter. Sure when he gained the system slight things changed within him( he focused on leveling up) but the main thing never changed to give is family a better life( cure his mom). Since he saw the miracles of the system he figured he'd try to use it to his advantage and see what it's actually capable of.
