Tammy Slaton, one of the stars on 1000-Lb Sisters, house got robbed while she is in rehab. After pushing aside her health multiple times, Tammy was placed in an Ohio rehab facility because of her lung collapsing at the end of 1000-Lb Sisters season 3. Since entering the facility, Tammy has been doing better health wise, especially since she has been focusing on her diet, and the reality TV star did receive gastric by surgery in order to lose weight.
In an exclusive sneak preview of an episode shared by 1000-Lb Sisters' Tammy Slaton's sisters’ Amanda Slaton and Misty Slaton discovered the news that Tammy’s house was robbed. In the video, Amanda and Misty were going to Tammy’s house to retrieve some belongings that they could take to her in rehab. Immediately the duo noticed the house had been ransacked, saying, “they took everything.” Amanda further listed off all the items that were taken, including her fridge, her table, the kitchen sink, bathroom sink, her dresser, and the water heater.
Amanda And Misty Are Conflicted On Tammy Returning Home
Toward the end of the preview it had been revealed that Amanda and Misty were going to file a police report for Tammy’s house, but still seemed indecisive as to how relay the information to Tammy. Amanda claimed Tammy would be “devastated” due to the fact that “she doesn’t even have a place at this point.” Tammy’s house did appear nearly vacant when Amanda and Misty arrived, making the sisters even question if they want Tammy to return there once she leaves rehab.
For now, it is still unknown how Tammy reacted to the news about her house, or if her sisters told her within the same episode. It is clear though that this will upset Tammy, especially considering how much was taken from her home. However, Amanda and Misty appeared focused on making sure to break the news in the most gentle way, so they did not completely hurt Tammy.
It seems as though Amanda, Misty and their other sister Amy Slaton are trying their best to be able to figure out the burglary situation. As for Tammy, while the news will most likely amplify feelings of stress, hopefully she can bring herself to continue to improve in rehab and grow from this unfortunate circumstance. This is especially important considering how well Tammy has been doing within rehab currently. Needless to say there is work that needs to be done in order to make Tammy’s home feel like a home again, but it appears her sisters have her back in ing her.
