90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers are applauding Yohan Geronimo, for finally standing up to his controversial wife Daniele Gates. Daniele and Yohan are newcomers on The Other Way season 4, following their appearance on Love In Paradise: The Caribbean. Daniele decided to move to the Dominican Republic permanently to be with Yohan, however, the couple has already faced several big disagreements. Daniele is often dishonest with Yohan, and has recently asked him to meet her ex, who will be arriving in the Dominican Republic shortly.
Yohan has been very ive with Daniele, however, he was forced to finally put his foot down after she got angry with him at his birthday party. 90 Day Fiancé's Daniele threw a large birthday bash for Yohan ,where all of his friends and family were present. However, Yohan forgot to thank Daniele in front of everyone. When Daniele confronted Yohan about this, he explained that there were many looming issues in their marriage apart from the birthday, including the situation with her ex.

Fans Are Glad Yohan Is Finally Defending Himself
90 Day Fiancé fans were glad to see Yohan finally standing up to Daniele, as she has been criticizing his every move since her arrival in the Dominican Republic. Daniele was quick to call out Yohan on a small mistake, however, he tends to never call out her controlling behavior. Yohan finally told Daniele how it was, and said that she ruined his birthday before the party even started by bringing up her ex. Many fans in the comments agreed that Daniele lacked crucial self-awareness, with one writing "It is amazing how the self-absorbed are not self aware."
Daniele has received criticism since her debut on the season premiere, as she is constantly nagging at Yohan. Daniele has also been dishonest with her husband, and was not upfront with him about wanting to live in the Dominican Republic permanently. Yohan had expressed hopes of moving to the United States at some point, and Daniele did not take his opinion into consideration at all. Daniele also constantly criticizes Yohan for not making enough money, even though she is not making any effort to work.
Yohan, on the other hand, has been critiqued mainly for his inability to stand up to Daniele, which is why fans are so glad to see him finally doing so. Yohan has been ive to avoid fighting with Daniele, but it seems the Dominican native may have finally reached his limit. Daniele is very hypocritical, and gets angry with Yohan for minor things, when in reality, she does many things that are way worse. Daniele is one of the villains of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4, and it does not seem like she will be losing that title anytime soon.
