Players of the original game might be surprised to find that there is more than one request from the Merchant to destroy Blue Medallions in the Resident Evil 4 Remake. The second request will come in Chapter 3, as Leon leaves the church behind to attempt to cross the lake. In addition to keys, snakes, and gasoline, Leon will also need to look for five Blue Medallions.

The Resident Evil 4 Remake brings a new mechanic in the form of a trading system with the Merchant into the game. When completing requests, the Merchant will give Leon Spinel, which can be traded for special items in the shop. For example, the Blue Medallion request will be given multiple times throughout the game, though in different areas.

Where To Find All 5 Blue Medallions In The Quarry & Fish Farm

As Leon attempts to enter the church, he is redirected to the Quarry to find the key. The notice for this request will be found after Leon enters the Quarry proper in Resident Evil 4 Remake. a mysteriously large hammer, and the notice is on the wall next to an open gate. This will officially open the request from the Merchant. These Medallions are spread between the Quarry Area, and the Fish Farm Leon enters to get gasoline for the boat.

To conserve better ammo, use the Handgun to shoot the Blue Medallions.

Above the Quarry Arena

The first Blue Medallion can be seen after Leon enters the arena. He will be attacked by a couple of infected dogs. After fighting them off, look up at the tower above. The Blue Medallion might be hard to spot, but it can still be shot with the Handgun.

By the Boat

For the second Blue Medallion, head down to the boat and turn around on the dock. Again, the Blue Medallion will barely be visible. However, it is explicitly marked in the image above. Aim between the posts carefully to shoot this medallion and collect it.

Fish Farm Location #1

After entering the Fish Farm, this Blue Medallion will be fairly visible, hanging from the ceiling of the first main shed Leon es. Unfortunately, there are many Resident Evil 4 Remake's Ganados enemies here and snakes that will bite Leon, so be careful as Leon traverses the water-filled area.

For this one, walking along the boardwalk on the north side of the map, turn and face the south. The Blue Medallion is just visible in the windows of the fencing on the other side of the Fish Farm. It is possible to enter the water and get closer if it is too hard to see or aim at from the boardwalk itself.

For the final Blue Medallion, Leon will have to enter the water. Go down the boardwalk and enter the water in the north area toward the map's border. After doing so, turn back toward where Leon entered the Fish Farm and look under the boardwalk. The Blue Medallion will be waiting.

After this, the request will be fulfilled. When Leon returns to the Merchant, he will be rewarded with more Spinel. This can allow Leon to get upgrades for weapons in Resident Evil 4 Remake, among other items. Leon will be crossing the lake after he finds the gasoline, so it might be a good idea to go ahead and return to the merchant after doing so before starting the boat to stock up on supplies.
