While the American 90 Day Fiancé cast still live abroad, many have decided that they prefer the United States, after trying out life in other countries.

The 90 Day Fiancé franchise highlights why it is so difficult to change countries, as cast face many problems. On one side, there are legal issues, such as financial obstacles, endless paperwork, and waiting times for visas. However, there are also many cultural hurdles. Plenty of cast struggle with adapting to new lives, especially when they do not speak local languages. It can be especially hard to move when a 90 Day Fiancé star is unable to make money, or doesn't feel that they have good work prospects. Meanwhile, missing friends and family can also negatively impact happiness. Some American cast choose to move back to the US solo, although many couples have decided to move to America together.
