All in all, 1984 didn't take itself too seriously and still managed to deliver a concise season, which is more than we can say about most of the other recent seasons. This season had a beginning, middle, and end, and managed to keep audiences entertained with its campy, nostalgic, murder ride. But after the season finale in episode nine, there are still a few questions that were left unanswered.

Why Did People Get Stuck In Camp Redwood?

The biggest question anyone has is, why did people who first season of AHS, Murder House, everyone who dies in the house, remains there as a spirit. It has to do with all of the negative energy that keeps the spirits confined to their place of death. And while Camp Redwood definitely had some dark times, it is interesting to see that it must have the same reasons as the Murder House, especially considering almost all of them had been murdered.

American Horror Story 1984 Bruce

Bruce was a strange character introduced in episode seven of the season. He quickly reveals his true colors that he is trying to be "the next big serial killer," with an even higher kill count than Ted Bundy. Bruce was pretty pointless throughout the series. He becomes Richard Ramirez's murder assistant and is quickly murdered and cast aside. He doesn't even appear again as a ghost, so really, what was the point of him at all?

Why Did It Break The Night Stalker Timeline?

Richard Ramirez AHS 1984 Satan

The Night Stalker is one of the most notorious serial killers of all time. He is incredibly sick and twisted and nearly every true-crime podcast has spoken of him at least once. But, while his presence in the season acted as a twist, it also broke his real-life timeline. In the series, Richard Ramirez was arrested after the events of Camp Redwood, around 1985, which is when he was arrested in real life as well. But the series probably should've stopped there and shown him rotting in jail, instead of breaking free.

After he arrives at Redwood once again, Ramirez kills the journalist who arrives at the camp with Brooke and Donna just after saying the line, "writers make me sick." This is pretty comical as the real Ramirez was actually engaged to a writer when he died in 2013.
