However, the social media influencer humiliated the farmer when she refused to kiss him, and Samantha instantly became the villain of the season. John remained interested in Samantha, but she chose to leave the farm and the dating show a few episodes later.

Luckily, John and Claire weren't deterred by the lack of initial sparks. Once they had more time to get to know each other, they realized their personalities really complimented each other. However, a wrench was thrown into their blossoming relationship when John asked the tough questions about religion and values on their solo date. He assumed they would automatically be in alignment on these values.

Lily, on the other hand, was far more similar to John. Both want to raise their kids with strict discipline, whereas Claire wants to be more lenient with her future children. John and Claire are still together as of the Farmer Wants A Wife season 3 finale. The show filmed in September, 2024, which means the relationship is still fairly new, but both John and Claire are excited to see where it could go. Currently, they have no immediate plans to get engaged. In an interview with People, John explained why they're taking things slow:

"We're just going day by day, seeing how it goes. I think that's the best way to do it because if we start putting all this pressure and timelines and stuff on our relationship, it's just bound for trouble.”

Although Claire lived on John's farm while filming Farmer Wants A Wife, she's moved back to Chicago for the time being. John is still in law school, and it's possible the two are waiting for his graduation to move in together. For now, John and Claire make each other happy, and that's what matters.

The farm wasn't the last place John saw Samantha or Lily. Cody Crawford posted an Instagram story with John, Matt Warren, Samantha, and Lily. There was speculation that this photo contained spoilers, since Lily was still on the show at the time it was posted. However, we now know the cast were just hanging out as friends or for publicity.

Samantha, however, no longer seems to be on good with John. According to TV Shows Ace, Samantha posted a now-deleted Instagram photo after the Farmer Wants A Wife finale. In the post, she wrote, "Good Riddance," followed by "btw Lily was the actual winner." Samantha and John do not follow each other on Instagram. Luckily, John has found the woman he wants to be with, and he and Claire are happy together.
