During the first seasons, when Love Island USA ran on CBS, the seasons had to work through changes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Original host Arielle Vandenberg hosted the series from a luxurious villa in Fiji for the first season but was relocated to Las Vegas for Love Island USA season 2.

Love Island USA season 3 moved once again, this time to another villa in beautiful Hawaii, but things had been shaken up so much for the series that it was on the brink of failure. After being scooped up by Peacock, host Arielle was replaced by actress Sarah Hyland, and the series was moved back to Fiji once again. After two seasons with Sarah as the host, Love Island USA announced that there would be another shakeup for the season. With Ariana taking over the hosting role, I think Love Island USA season 6 may be the best yet.
