About Jenna Wrenn

Jenna Wrenn is a Senior Comics Reporter at Screen Rant and an Journalist/Editor at Temple of Geek. In addition to appearing on and moderating s at New York Comic Con and San Diego Comic Con, she executive produces and hosts the Portrait of a Fangirl Podcast.

Jenna has had the pleasure of interviewing indiviuals she ires, such as Felicia Day, Ashley Eckstein, Katee Sackhoff, Rachel Smythe, Gail Simone, and Max Brooks. 

When Jenna is not busy writing or creating content, you can find her with her cats, attending conventions, or curled up with a good book.

Industry Focus

Jenna found her love for comics in her mid-twenties and has never looked back. Some of her favorite titles include Matt Fraction's Hawkeye, Lore Olympus by Rachel Smythe, and anything/everything Daredevil.

Jenna hosts the Portrait of a Fangirl podcast; a project that highlights women in fandom and can be found anywhere you stream your podcasts. Jenna holds her BA and MA in History and is based in NY with her two cats who demand her undivided attention.

Favorite Media

Beyond comics, Jenna is a massive Star Wars fan. Her favorite Star Wars content is Star Wars: Rebels and one of her all time favorite fictional characters is Ahsoka Tano. Jenna also enjoys anime, her favorite being Jujutsu Kaisen. Jenna loves to read anything from comics to manga to novels. Her favorite book is The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller and thinks you should give it a read!
