About Joanna Damiani

Joanna Damiani is an American Lists Writer for Screen Rant who mainly composes articles about DC, Marvel, gaming, TV shows, and anime. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Writing and is published in multiple editions of Woodcrest Magazine that won Columbia Scholastic Press Association National Gold Crown Awards, in which she wrote poetry as well as short stories. Joanna also won the Phillip M. Cook Award for a One-Act play she wrote during college about a group of troubled teens living in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania called Que Sera Sera. Her biggest dreams are to someday publish poetry books, short stories, novels, and to become a screenwriter. Joanna has a borderline unhealthy Lofi Hip Hop addiction and loves to listen to music while she writes. She swears by the Bioshock and Assassins Creed game series, though Sonic games are what she played the most as a child. Her most well-loved movies are The Shawshank Redemption and The Iron Giant. As a late 90s kid, she holds a special place for childhood cartoons like Spongebob Squarepants and Courage the Cowardly Dog. In of anime, Joanna enjoys classics like Inuyasha, Sailor Moon, and Bleach but her all-time favorite is the Madoka Magica series.
