About Joseph Jenkinson

Joseph is a writer of film and television criticism who has dedicated his higher education to the theoretical side of cinema and the media. He has worked for five local magazines - the Stone Gazette, Devon Live, Readthis.uk, and Wolverhampton and Northampton Lifestyle - to produce reviews on the latest films at the cinemas and streaming serials.
Joseph also has a social media platform where he produces critical write-ups regularly and keeps up to date with the latest trends and news in the entertainment industry.

Favorite Media

Joseph has a love for all things film and television. Joseph likes to keep his horizons wide through various other genres, but his particular favorite movies come from action, westerns, crime, and science-fiction. Crime is especially the most gripping genre for Joseph and his favorite show is Breaking Bad, followed closely by Mr Robot.
His favorite movies are 2001: A Space Odyssey, 12 Angry Men, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, A Ghost Story, and Tangled
Although he doesn't consider himself an avid comic book reader, Joseph is a fan of comic book characters, with Batman being his favorite. He is still desperate for Jason Todd, his favorite Robin, to make a live-action cinematic debut.

Industry Focus

Joseph has been a freelance writer for two years and is continuously building his portfolio to become an accomplished journalist in the entertainment industry.
On social media, particularly Instagram, Joseph has a blog where he reviews films but also creates top-ten lists, rankings, and, his personal favorite posts, fan casting.
Joseph's contributions to Screen Rant will be posts on Marvel and DC Comics movies as the superhero genre dominates the current landscape. The topics around comic book movies, characters, and actors are very varied, with many movies and shows to anticipate.
