About Kara Hedash
Kara is an editor and writer based out of the Philly area. Before ing Screen Rant, Kara wrote for Movie Pilot, with articles published on various other entertainment sites. After graduating college, writing began as a hobby for Kara, but it quickly turned into a career. When Kara's not busy, you can find her doing yoga or hanging out with Gritty.
Industry Focus
Kara first started writing for Screen Rant in 2019. She then served as a Lead Trainer and an editor. Kara is currently a Senior Editor for the New TV team, but occasionally, she still writes about her favorite horror movie franchises. That said, Kara still keeps up with Star Wars and the MCU.
Favorite Media
Kara has always loved horror since she started watching the genre at too young an age. Her favorite horror franchise is Scream, but she will watch anything in the genre. As for other franchises, her favorite OG Avenger is Thor (after meeting Chris Hemsworth), and she considers Leia Organa to be the best Disney Princess.
