The first two deaths arrive early on in the movie, with Heimdall meeting his end when he's stabbed by one of the of Thanos' Black Order. Then, after Loki tries to trick Thanos in order to get the upper hand, the Mad Titan chokes the God of Mischief to death (though it's not the first time Loki has appeared to have been killed). Later on in Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos must make a sacrifice to obtain the Soul Stone - a soul for a soul - and he kills Gamora by throwing her off a cliff on Vormir.
Over the course of Avengers: Infinity War, each member of Thanos' Black Order is killed. Ebony Maw dies when he's blasted into space by Spider-Man, Iron Man and Doctor Strange; Bruce Banner kills Cull Obsidian by attaching part of the Hulkbuster suit to him and sending him into the barrier protecting Wakanda; Proxima Midnight is killed by Scarlet Witch after battling her, Okoye and Black Widow; and Corvus Glaive meets his end by way of his own staff, which is wielded by Vision. In the final act of the movie, Vision also dies - twice. First, Scarlet Witch destroys the Mind Stone, killing him. Then, Thanos turns back time with the Time Stone and uses his strength to rip the Mind Stone out of Vision, killing him again.
In the final moments of Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Infinity War after-credits scene) include: Bucky Barnes, Black Panther, Groot, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, Mantis, Drax, Quill, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Maria Hill, and Nick Fury.
There are still a few Marvel characters whose fates we don't know because it's not shown whether they survived Thanos snapping his fingers. Most notably, this includes Pepper Potts, Shuri, and Wong, who all appear earlier in the film. However, since Infinity War is an installment in a comic book movie universe, not all the deaths may stick. Avengers 4 will bring deaths of its own, so Marvel Studios' heroes - even those left standing at the end of Avengers: Infinity War - are by no means safe.
