The bike’s 4" fat tires ensure that riders can go off-roading with ease. It also has fenders that stop mud, sand, and water from going everywhere, and riders can transport necessities using the rear rack. As far as its capabilities go, s get a 28mph top speed, up to 60 miles of pedal-assisted range, and a torque sensor. It also has a removable lithium-ion battery (48V, 15Ah, 720Wh) paired with a 750W brushless hub motor. The electric motor's peak rating of 1,150W should provide enough power to navigate tough terrains and climb slopes.

The Aventure.2 has four pedal assist levels to reduce the energy spent pedaling. Real-world testing conducted by Aventon reveals that the bike offers a maximum speed of 20 mph and 30 miles of range without pedaling when using throttle mode. Meanwhile, using pedal assist with the available torque sensor, electric motor, and battery promises an estimated 60 miles. However, range depends on various factors like weight, driving behavior, and the type of terrain. Charging should take between 4 and 5 hours using the provided 48V 3A fast charger.

The e-bike also has a backlight-enabled LCD that relays critical information like speed, battery life, and the pedal assist level. There's a hidden USB port that bikers can use to charge their phones, and it comes with smartphone app integration to allow riders to sync and view their information on Aventon's mobile app. They can also configure speed settings, set goals, and share milestones with the Aventon community. Another useful safety feature is the integrated lights with a turn signal functionality. Coupled with the front headlight and rear brake light, it ensures that the Aventure.2 is seen even in poorly lit areas.
