After former Colton Underwood revealed on Good Morning America that's he's gay, host Chris Harrison was quick to offer his congratulations. Colton's shocking announcement received both positive and negative from Bachelor Nation. While some praised him for embracing his true self, others haven't forgotten his concerning actions toward ex-girlfriend Cassie Randolph. Chris, who is still in the hot seat following his controversial remarks about Rachael Kirkconnell and the Old South Ball, sided with the former.

Colton appeared on The Bachelor in 2019 after placing fourth on Becca Kufrin's season of Cassie filed a police report and restraining order against Colton, who she said placed a tracking device in her car. Ever since, Colton has been relatively quiet. He even went on a two-month Instagram hiatus. But now, Colton is back in the public eye as the first openly-gay man to star on The Bachelor.

One said, "Chris you're a stand up guy and I'm glad that Bachelor Nation or some will allow this to be what it is...Colton got brave enough to be true to himself." Meanwhile, some Bachelor fans continue to look out for Cassie: "Friendly reminder that coming out as gay, or being closeted as gay doesn't excuse stalking your ex girlfriend and making her feel unsafe."
