Kate Chastain are setting sail on a brand-new series. With Captain Lee's future on Below Deck uncertain, his new series with Kate will offer a totally different look into the Captain as he provides commentary on the Bravo-sphere. Along with being a huge fan of Kim Zolciak-Biermann's series, Don't Be Tardy, Kate shared more about Lee's presence on the series, explaining he even had thoughts on Scandoval. Kate said Lee was "surprisingly ionate" about Scandoval, sharing, "He said that Sandoval was a poor man's Johnny Depp."

As one of the most beloved Below Deck figures, Kate has been giving her take on what's gone down on the series for years. One of the of the cast of Below Deck Galley Talk, Kate has been a part of a cast of alums who comment on all things Below Deck, providing their expert opinions on everything to do with the fleet of super yachts and their roving crews. For Kate, who spent six seasons on Below Deck as Captain Lee's Chief Stewardess, her experience with reality TV has widened since her time on the series, most recently with her appearance on The Traitors.

Captain Lee has been a huge part of Bravo since Below Deck season 1, having worked as the Captain in some capacity of each season of the series. While his time on Below Deck has been enjoyable, Captain Lee was not asked back for the next season of the series. Lee has been having some health issues and, for the past several seasons, has had to take time away from his role as Captain to deal with things at home. From mobility issues to genuine health threats, it will benefit Captain Lee to stick to Couch Talk rather than moving back towards Below Deck.

With Kate and Captain Lee's new series airing on Bravo this August, it's clear that the network is invested in the two stars.
