Below Deck Down Under season 3 is still far away, but viewers are excited to watch the show and see some popular crew return. The hit reality TV series first premiered in 2022 and quickly became one of Below Deck’s most successful spin-offs. Below Deck Down Under season 2 aired in July 2023 and featured some of the most dramatic moments, including the termination of bosun Luke Jones for sexual misconduct. Similarly, second stew Laura Bileskaline got fired for her disrespectful behavior.

Below Deck Down Under season 2 was also full of some shocking returns. However, one of the most surprising comebacks happened when Below Deck Mediterranean’s Joao Franco ed Captain Jason Chamber’s crew as the new bosun. Joao’s history with Chief Steward Aesha Scott and Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph was one of the most entertaining parts of the season. Below Deck Down Under season 2 concluded on September 18, leaving viewers wanting more. Hopefully, Bravo will announce Below Deck Down Under season 3 soon.

Culver Bradbury

While season 3 isn’t confirmed yet, a few crew should return to Captain Jason’s team again. That includes Culver Bradbury, who has been the deckhand for the last two seasons. The 32-year-old doesn’t have the most likable attitude, so fans love to hate him and wouldn’t mind if he continues his journey on the show. Culver also provides comedic relief in tense situations. While he isn’t the best deckhand on the boat, he never causes trouble for the crew like other Below Deck Down Under cast .

Margot Sisson

Margot Sisson wowed viewers with her charming personality in season 2. She was the third stew on Captain Jason’s yacht and remained mostly drama-free during her time on the show. Margot is a newbie stew with only two years of yachting experience. It was nice to see her learning and adapting to tense charter guests’ demands and other situations. Margot was also involved in a major scandal when former bosun Luke entered her room naked. Margot received sympathy on social media after being harassed by the crew member.

Tzarina Mace-Ralph

In the last season, Tzarina was full of enthusiastic energy and had a likable personality. She was a major part of the romance drama during Below Deck Down Under season 2. Therefore, she would make a perfect addition to the follow-up season. Tzarina’s Instagram reveals she’s still single, and viewers would love to see her again. She has a nice dynamic with other crew and is an excellent teammate.

Joao Franco

Joao was one the biggest surprises on Below Deck Down Under season 2. The bosun was previously infamous for his controversial and rude behavior on Below Deck Mediterranean. Therefore, it was shocking that Captain Jason allowed him on the yacht, especially when he had bad blood with Aesha and Tzarina. While viewers were initially skeptical about Joao’s addition and expected the worst, he further surprised them with his brand-new attitude. The Zimbabwe native showed immense growth and proved himself to be an excellent team player.

Aesha Scott

Chief Steward Aesha has come a long way since she debuted on Below Deck Mediterranean. Not only has she grown professionally, but she has proven to be just an excellent friend to her crew . Almost everyone loves Aesha, and she’s simply the perfect chief stew. The New Zealand native has been by Captain Jason’s side since the Below Deck Down Under season 1 premiere. Therefore, fans might never want to see her lave. Below Deck Down Under wouldn’t feel the same without Aesha, which is why she should return in season 3.

Jason Chambers

Similar to Aesha, Jason is the face of Below Deck Down Under. The Australian native has over 23 years of yachting experience, and his ability to handle any tough situation proves it. Captain Jason is like a hawk; he’s sharp, calculated, and doesn’t like to make mistakes. He’s an excellent leader who doesn’t hesitate to make tough decisions. During Below Deck Down Under season 2, Jason fired Luke for his misconduct and Laura for being a terrible teammate. He also made the tough call of letting go of fan-favorite Adam Kodra due to inexperience. Jason later claimed if he had the space on the yacht, he wouldn’t have minded keeping Adam and training him.

Harry Van Vliet

Sydney native Harry Van Vliet was one of the youngest crew on Captain Jason’s yacht. He appeared in Below Deck Down Under season 2 as a deckhand and proved he's good at handling his duties. Harry maintained a great relationship with every crew member and established himself as a solid teammate. He also entertained viewers with his chemistry with Margot. While the deckhand couldn’t find love with Margot as she wasn't that into him, he built a great friendship with her that continues off-screen. Harry has a bright future and a captivating personality and can be a solid addition to season 3.

Viewers would happily see many former crew return in season 3. However, Below Deck Down Under’s real fun comes from watching new crew face various challenges on the yacht. Hopefully, season 3 will feature a great mix of newbies and returning cast to ensure the most drama. Season 2 ended in September 2023, so fans can expect Bravo to reveal the new crew sometime in mid-2024. While there’s no release date confirmed for the show, Below Deck Down Under season 3 should probably premiere in the latter half of 2024.
