The premiere date and trailer have been revealed for Aesha's future with the franchise, including whether she'd return to Down Under or leave the network entirely.

Below Deck Down Under season 3's trailer gives a first look at Aesha Scott's chief stew replacement and lots of drama.

After the most recent episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht announced a February 3 premiere date for Below Deck Down Under season 3, Bravo has now released the official trailer to get fans hyped. Included in the preview is the debut of Aesha's replacement Lara Rigby, along with other new cast like bosun Wihan Du Toit, deckhands Johnny Arvanitis and Adair Werley, stews Brianna Duffield and Marina Marcondes de Barros, and sous-chef Anthony Bird. While Aesha got along with everyone, Lara isn't as easygoing.

In the just-released trailer, Lara is portrayed as a perfectionist who won't tolerate creases, fingerprints or smudges. "If it's not great, do it again," she exclaims. It's not just her stews, Brianna and Marina, who have to put up with Lara's behavior, though.

Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph also can't believe what she's seeing from the chief stew, and she says, "Lara is the biggest control freak I've ever met." If the trailer is any indication, Lara won't hesitate to tattletale to Captain Jason Chambers about everyone else's behavior, especially after she's accused of bullying them. Fortunately, the captain isn't having any of it, as he claims he won't "tolerate heads of department yelling at each other."

The Below Deck Down Under trailer proves that the new season certainly won't be lacking in the drama department. On every Below Deck show she's on, Aesha is someone that can get along with almost everybody; she always has a smile on her face and comes across as possibly the nicest person in the entire franchise. That's why there was extreme disappointment when it was revealed that she wouldn't be returning to Down Under; it appears she's staying put on Med (at least for now).

Aesha's most recent season really exhausted her, so there's a chance she might decide to leave the franchise for good after the Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, which has been bogged down by producer manipulation allegations and ridiculous drama. Captain Jason is a fan-favorite captain, so having him back on TV screens will be welcomed.

Aesha's Absence Will Be A Big Test For Below Deck Down Under

Replacing Aesha with someone like Lara ensures Below Deck Down Under season 3 will be filled with plenty of drama. There are already a lot of fans who don't like that Aesha won't be featured this season, but hopefully, the presence of Captain Jason and Chef Tzarina will make up for it. It would be a big deal if the captain had to fire the chief stew, but based on this trailer, he clearly won't hesitate to send anyone packing who's spreading negativity, which he calls an "infection."

Below Deck Down Under season 5 premieres February 3 at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
