After their conversation, he went to Mads and asked if she had her cycle, with him arguing it was “common decency” to tell him if she was having her period when he “went down” on her. She was visibly uncomfortable during their conversation, partly because fellow Stew Lucy Edmunds was present for the interaction. Gary later apologized, but it was yet another example of his bad behavior.

In season 3, he hooked up with Ashley Marti, and their drunken night together drew controversy with viewers. After that, he flirted with Gabriela Barragan and Scarlett Bentley.
