Daisy Kelliher's unusual behavior on love triangle involving Colin, Daisy, and Gary. Following the budding boatman between Daisy and Gary in the previous season, no one expected this plot twist. However, the trio has served up a lot of drama this season.
Although both men have itted their feelings for Daisy, she still seems to have difficulty choosing between them. In an episode from June 19, Daisy showed how much the situation had gotten to her when she confused Colin with Gary in bed. Besides this, Daisy has also displayed some uncharacteristic behavior which indicates her head is not where it should be.
Daisy Isn't As Focused On Work
Daisy made her reality TV debut on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 as Chief Stew and quickly became known for her exemplary work ethic. This was also the case when she reprised her role the following season and was branded as one of the shining stars of the series. However, amid the love triangle, Daisy has looked distracted, which has caused her work ethic to dip in the most recent episodes. In one of the two Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 episodes aired on June 19, Daisy displayed an uncharacteristic lack of service when she left an injured charter guest unattended.
The incident happened after the guest accidentally hit his head on a door, which caused him to bleed. The wounded guest was later discovered by Gary. However, all attempts to reach Daisy went unanswered for several minutes. While all this was happening, Daisy was chatting with her interior crew in the kitchen and didn't hear the radio call. When Captain Glenn Shephard got her to do her job, Daisy playfully dismissed what had happened and failed to take responsibility for slacking on the job.
Captain Glenn Is Noticing Daisy’s Lack of Work Ethic
Daisy zoning off during work hours has become a common theme, and this has earned her some criticism. Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 has also seen a new trend of Daisy breaking down in tears whenever she is faced with a slightly complicated task. While some charters are always more hectic than others, Daisy always found a way to take control of the situation reassuringly in previous seasons. However, she has yet to replicate that same level of control this season. Instead, she often crumbles under pressure, and Captain Glenn has taken notice of this worrying dip in her work ethic.
During a previous episode, Glenn was seen calling out the interior team for their poor service, and he specifically pointed out that their work wasn't fast enough. More importantly, Glenn called out Daisy for an all-around drop in performance. He advised Daisy to "work smarter than work harder." Although she was visibly upset by Glenn's criticisms, it would be advantageous if she took the advice in good faith. It would be a disaster if she lost the goodwill of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans and her Captain all in one season.
