Marvel's Midnight Suns combines exciting combat animation with a turn-based card system for every character, including Blade. Each hero has their own deck of cards full of special abilities and attacks tailored to their style. For example, Blade, the vampire hunter, focuses on making his enemies Bleed, sapping their life despite their best attempts to block it.

Blade's deck is built to his ive ability, Cold Blooded. This ability has a percent chance (10% for Cold Blooded, 25% for the Cold Blooded II Friendship Level upgrade in Marvel’s Midnight Suns) to apply one Bleed after dealing damage. When the turn is over, the enemy with Bleed takes damage equal to the amount of Bleed on them. As the only character with Bleed abilities, the best Blade deck build adds as much Bleed as possible and capitalizes on its effects.

Strike will also have two copies within Blade's deck, delivering a chained attack to 2 or 3 targets if upgraded. The more Blade attacks, the more likely Cold Blooded will activate. This Attack Card deals 50% of Blade's Offense, the same as Quick Strike. A copy of Quick Strike in the deck helps players by applying Quick. This status effect refunds a Card Play once the target is KO'ed. The more Card Plays available for Blade, the more chances to apply Bleed. If there is an enemy who could cause severe harm before their Bleed activates, this Card can save the day.

All of these cards work to one of the heaviest hitters in the deck, the Heroic Card Daywalker. Costing 3 Heroism, Daywalker attacks four enemies at once. Daywalker+ lets the player draw a card for each KO. This Card is a great way to transition into interrogating enemies in Marvel’s Midnight Suns if players have the ability to unlock. Finally, players can finish off the deck with Glaive, the Legendary Heroic Card, only usable once per Mission. Glaive attacks everyone and applies 2 Bleed to all targets. If upgraded, the Card does extra damage to anyone who already has Bleed applied.
