Warning: Spoilers Ahead for Black Clover!Black Clover is an exceptional shonen battle manga with a hugely popular anime, endearing characters and a fascinating fairytale aesthetic while leaving room for some of the best, most jaw-dropping fights in the medium. The main character, Asta, is a gifted close-combat fighter devoid of magic in a world where magic means everything. Yet, he influences the surrounding mages in the Clover Kingdom to become exemplary Magic Knights. This underdog experience often generates massive hype, along with Yuki Tabata's gorgeous art, to highlight the best fights in Black Clover.
Much of Black Clover features exciting battles as the Clover Kingdom's Magic Knights resolve issues locally, thwart conquests from neighboring nations, or even confront existential global threats. What's special about the series is that its diverse and lovable Magic Knights each boast a uniquely developed skill set inspired by tome-carrying fantasy mages and other shonen manga like Naruto.
But the best part about the fights is that they don't stop thrilling readers and viewers as Black Clover inches toward its conclusion.

Black Clover Is Exactly Like Naruto (But I Don't Have a Problem With It)
Black Clover is regarded as yet another modern shonen classic, but this inevitably invites comparisons to other classics, namely Naruto.
10 Henry vs. Rades & Sally
The House Always Wins
One prevailing aspect of Black Clover is how it increasingly stages surprising and stunning reveals to blow readers and viewers away, such as Henry Legolant's incredible debut fight in chapter #140. The sickly Black Bulls member, indebted to the brigade for siphoning their magic over time to sustain himself, shows the awesome might of his Recombination Magic by turning the entire hideout into a giant bull construct capable of devastating offense and defense. It's a spectacular quasi-mecha moment as he turns his power against Rades Spirito's advances on the manor.
9 Asta, Vanessa & Magna vs. Luck
The Power of Acceptance
Of the best fights in Black Clover, few have the same emotional impact of Luck Voltia when Lufulu possessed him in the Elf Reincarnation Arc. Here, his Lightning Magic and blistering speed make him a nightmarish opponent, who would be confidently able to crush his opponents were it not for Asta's intervention and Vanessa's Red Thread of Fate. But what's striking about this fight is how Luck's humanity, occasionally buried under his violent persona, shines through as he involuntarily fights his fellow Black Bulls, with a touching realization that this team is where he belongs.
8 Noelle and Nozel vs. Kivn
The Silva's Ascension
The Elf Reincarnation Arc is loaded with great moments as the Clover Kingdom's Magic Knights cooperate between brigades more and more effectively, such as when Noelle and her brother, Nozel. Noelle's growth as a Magic Knight out of her self-doubting phase hits a breakthrough in this, including recalling her rampaging water spell from early in the series and gaining the of her siblings. But the true highlight, as Noelle overcomes the maelstrom of the Another Atlas, is when she shows her battle-tested developments by donning the Valkyrie Armor, becoming the spitting image of her mother.
7 Black Bulls vs. Lucius
The Ultimate Battle
As Black Clover approaches its final chapters, the fights of the last arc are electrifying, with Lucius Zogratis being a dire threat to the world. Unlike the transition from Black Bulls empowered by anti-magic, and guest appearances from the Clover Kingdom's best Magic Knights.
6 Black Bulls vs. Moris
The Great Escape
The best fights in Black Clover tend to skew toward the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc due to the Black Bulls and other Magic Knights becoming much more cohesive against an imperialistic and malevolent threat. Outside the Dark Triad, though, Moris Libardirt is a persistent threat whose hand in the Tree of Qliphoth ritual includes guarding Yami and William. But the Black Bulls' stalwart dedication to their Captain includes a decadent showcase of s such as the Raging Bull kaiju-style fight against an enormous devil. Asta, once again overcoming his limits, creates a truly special experience yet to be animated.
5 Magna vs. Dante
The Fist of Fury
The Dark Triad are possibly the most memorable group of villains in Black Clover, so it only makes sense that they are involved in some incredibly satisfying fights. While much of the focus on the Black Bulls early on was predominantly placed on Noelle and Asta, with smaller moments for other , the team would begin to cooperate creatively. Thanks to Zora's guidance, Magna gives Dante Zogratis a furious fistfight by creating a spell to link his magic with his opponent, leveling the playing field with Soul Chain Death Match, perfect for the most punchable face of the Dark Triad.
4 Asta, Yuno, and Captains vs. Lucifero
The Dance with the Devil
An exceedingly powerful devil whose emergence is a major plot point of the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc, Lucifero's battle doesn't disappoint, as an especially compelling reason for Black Clover to release season 5 of the anime. One of the most satisfying parts of this fight is in how the leaders of each Magic Knights brigade the fray, with particularly satisfying moments featuring fan-favorite Mereoleona as well as Yuno helping alongside Asta. But the fight's emotional stakes become especially heavy for Liebe as he and Asta face his literal greatest personal demon.
3 Asta & Nacht vs. Lilith & Nahamah
Double Trouble
Lilith and Nahamah are less significant to the plot, yet their battle with Nacht and Asta is incredible, with moments including new transformations and one of Asta's greatest heroic feats. These devils are devastatingly strong, separate, and even more terrifying, united; even in the face of amazing Devil Unions from Nacht, Jack the Ripper, and Asta's Devil Union with Liebe, they still put up a visually spectacular fight. The peak of this confrontation is when they conjure a miniature sun over the castle, only for Asta to rise to the occasion in a legendary set of s in chapter #289.
2 Noelle & Nozel vs. Vanica & Megicula
The Grudge Match
Noelle has some of the best fights in Black Clover, but her confrontation against Vanica and Megicula is emotionally charged. Vanica's grip on Lolopechka creates persistent tension throughout the fight as Noelle seeks help from Undine to tackle the Dark Triad member directly. There's intervention from Charlotte and Asta, a beautiful showcase of Noelle's Saint Stage abilities, and incredible cooperation from Nozel as the Silva family increasingly recognizes their true strongest daughter, avenging their mother against the devil that killed her. But it's perhaps Noelle's realization of her feelings for Asta empowering her that truly clinches it at the end.
1 Yuno vs. Zenon
A Star Is Born
The trail of good fights in Black Clover's Spade Kingdom Raid Arc is practically perfect, and Yuno's fight against Zenon tests his pragmatism in the face of his deadliest foe yet. It's one in which Langris and Finral do their best to assist Yuno with their Spatial Magic and even come close. Still, the simple, perfectly executed developments, such as Yuno seizing his destiny as a scion of the Spade Kingdom, make this a huge moment for the character. Yuno's awakening of his Star Magic and Saint Stage is practically peak fiction, as he becomes the regal bane of devils.
