Big Brother Canada 9 has officially begun, and the fans want to know the season 9 schedule so that they can catch up on new BBCAN9 episodes. It's been a long wait since season 8 of the show was abruptly shut down due to growing concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic. Alas, the Canadian edition of Big Brother is finally back, and it has many fans excited for what's to come. This time, the biggest twist of the season is that the houseguests will initially compete in teams. The public voted for team captains, setting up Kiefer Collison to lead Team Defender and Tina Thistle to lead Team Destiny.

After a rough pre-season period that involved the disqualification of a contestant from BBCAN9, the show is now off to a great start. Currently, Captain Kiefer is leading Team Defender with Jedson Tavernier, Josh Farnworth, Latoya Anderson, Rohan Kapoor, Julie Vu, and Breydon White. Tina is leading Team Destiny with Kyle Moore, Victoria Woghiren, Beth Bieda, Austin Dookwah, Tychon Carter-Newman, and Tera Gillen-Patrozzi. It is still unclear how long this twist with teams will go on, but the houseguests will have to do their best to survive in the competition under these circumstances.

Now that the  cast was announced, it's important to note when the show will be airing new episodes. The Big Brother Canada 9 schedule is as follows: Mondays at 9 pm ET/PT, Wednesdays at 7 pm ET/PT, and Thursdays at 8 pm ET/PT on Global TV. Judging by the series' traditional schedule, Thursday episodes will be for evictions and Head of Household competitions, Monday episodes will be for nomination ceremonies, and Wednesday episodes will be for Power of Veto competitions and ceremonies. Initially, it might feel slightly confusing for viewers to keep up with all the different times that the show will air new episodes. After a few weeks, however, one can hope that it will be easier for everyone to follow.

There is still an entire season and several Big Brother Canada competitions ahead of us. Thus, the fans should keep tuning in to find out what will happen during what is poised to be a truly unforgettable season of this series. The Destiny team has gotten a headstart, but that first comp victory could always get to their heads and ruin their gameplay starting in week two.

The BBCAN fans are rejoicing that their favorite show is back on the air. Hopefully, this season will not disappoint after what was such a disappointing season 8.
