Big Brother is a very emotional show, there's no denying it. The show has a very unique structure in that its players spend months together living under the same roof. Those who make it to the end spend upwards of three months together, living inside a house without amenities like television and the internet. It gives them a lot of time to talk, get to know each other, and form strong bonds.
Unfortunately, this also results in some highly emotional and inappropriate evictions, as Big Brother contestants are very often betrayed by those they felt close to. It's equal parts embarrassing and hilarious.
Austin Matelson
Austin Matelson was quite a contentious figure on Big Brother 17, known for his bitter exit and for entering into a showmance with Liz, despite having an on-again-off-again girlfriend back home. Austin showed visible shock with his eviction and told Vanessa Rousso that she wouldn't win the game.
He then stood up, ionately kissed Liz and stomped out of the house barefoot without saying goodbye to anyone else (even violently banging the door open on his way out). It was very rude, but also very hilarious and memorable.
Erica Hill
Big Brother Canada is every bit as dramatic as its American counterpart, and Big Brother Canada 6 is one of its most dramatic seasons. Erica Hill was blindsided and sent home, prompting a very emotional and hostile exit. Erica turned to her enemies and yelled, "F*ck both you, literally, f*ck both of you!" -- prompting Kaela Grant to defend herself.
When Kaela stated that she "respected" Erica, she was met with a cold "don't give a sh*t." Both Erica and Kaela need to appear in a U.S. season. It would make for some fantastic drama.
Jason Dent
Jason Dent of Big Brother 19 is known for various things, like accidentally breaking Christmas's foot and immediately booking it out the door upon his eviction. In one of the best double evictions of Big Brother, Christmas cast the deciding vote against Jason and sent him out of the house.
After the vote was cast, Jason simply stood up and booked it straight to the door with his hands on his hips. No goodbye hugs, no "good lucks," nothing at all.
Cornbread Ligon
Cornbread Ligon is a lumberjack and competed on the digital season Big Brother: Over the Top. Unfortunately, his annoying habits eventually resulted in a near-unanimous 9-1-0 eviction.
He was the first person voted off the show, and he quickly stood up and avoided both hugs and a friendly handshake. While opening the door and leaving the house, Cornbread let loose with a not-so-friendly "f*ck y'all!"
Michelle Meyer
Competing on Big Brother 18, Michelle Meyer was targeted and evicted by the eventual winner, Nicole Franzel. She then coldly hugged some houseguests before insulting Victor Arroyo as a "butt kisser" and saying some nasty things to Nicole that were blurred out from the broadcast.
It's unknown what exactly Michelle said to Nicole, but it prompted her to yell, "This is why I voted you out!" She then told the house to eliminate Nicole before stealing Paul Abrahamian's duck floatie.
Cody Nickson
Big Brother 19 was full of great drama, not to mention some very classless exits. After winning the Battle Back Competition, Cody was able to re-enter the house. However, he was evicted yet again in one of the biggest blindsides of the season.
After reading the unanimous 7-0-0 vote, Cody stood up and literally walked on the glass table to avoid everyone's feet. He was out the door before anyone could even get off the couch. It was quite classless but undeniably entertaining.
Chelsia Hart
Chelsia Hart from Big Brother 9 made it to jury, but she is mostly ed for her incredibly hostile exit from the house. After the 5-0 vote was announced, Chelsia awkwardly laughed at Julie Chen's misdirection before launching into a tirade against the other houseguests.
Chelsia got a little personal, and the mini speeches were quite hard-hitting and peppered with some very obvious vitriol. Outbursts like this are why fans have a fond remembrance of older Big Brother seasons.
Howie Gordon
Following a successful run on Big Brother 6, Howie Gordon returned for Big Brother 7. Unfortunately, his game was not nearly as strong, and he was betrayed by George Allen Boswell to place eighth.
Following some cold hugs, Howie ripped the hat off Boogie's head and threw it across the room while sarcastically thanking him for "the sellout." He proceeded to call Boogie "a little punk" and got directly in his face, while others tried awkwardly to shuffle him out the door. As Boogie says, "Another class act leaves the house!"
Justin Sebik
Big Brother 2 contained one of the most infamous evictions in the history of the show. A bartender named Justin Sebik held a knife to Krista Stegall's neck and asked "Would you be mad if I killed you?"
Big Brother producers had to step in, and the horrifying action got Justin kicked out of the house, making him the first guest to be expelled by the producers. It's a highly classless exit, and the only reason it isn't number one is because the action resulted in Justin's eviction and wasn't a result of his eviction.
Kyland Young
The eviction of Kyland Young made for some spectacular live television, and it's easily the most classless exit in the show's history. Kyland made things incredibly personal by attacking Xavier and bringing up his recently deceased brother.
Xavier was playing the game for his now fatherless nephew, so when Kyland was evicted, he told Xavier that he was acting in a selfish manner and not being a good role model for the young child. The two nearly came to blows on live TV, and Julie Chen couldn't have been more afraid.
