At the moment, only the confirmation was announced, and details such as the plot, staff and release date are still unknown, but fans should expect the same quality that mesmerized them in the first season.

With the Beyond the Snow Saga airing during October 2024, Aniplex confirmed that a new season that will cover The Blue Night Saga will air in January 2025, with back-to-back releases. Since the anime came back in early 2024 after a seven-year hiatus, the production has seemed to be moving smoothly, and thus, there will be less waiting between each new season.

2 Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War's Third Cour Is Finally Here

1 Fire Force Was By Far the Most Shocking Announcement

Unlike the other anime announced at AX 2024, where fans knew some sort of updates were coming, Fire Force was unexpected and kept hidden from fans. Season 3 of the series has been long overdue since the end of the prequel in 2020, and the final arcs of the series were confirmed. The first part of Fire Force season 3 will be released in April 2025, and the second and final installation of the anime will arrive in January 2026. This incredibly violent and beautifully animated series from the creator of Soul Eater is easily one of the most popular series of the past decade, and it will finally be completed soon.
