Marvel Studios kicked off Phase 3 with Black Panther, marking the first time a Marvel Cinematic Universe stars an African-American lead.
Director Ryan Coogler has populated the world of Wakanda with more than just T'Challa as his all-star cast continues to grow. The biggest roles have already been filled in the lead up to production, and now thanks to some photos, it has been confirmed that production is underway.
Just Jared has released images of Boseman, Lupita Nyong'o (Nakia), Danai Gurira (Okoye), and Martin Freeman (Everett K. Ross) heading to set in regular attire and scripts in hand. While the photos themselves do not offer up much of a look at how the new additions characters will look, they do give us confirmation that filming is beginning.

With production now underway in Atlanta, the rest of the cast is sure to . Michael B. Jordan (Erik Killmonger), Forest Whitaker (Zuri), Angela Bassett (Ramonda), Sterling K. Brown (N'Jobu), Daniel Kaluuya (W'Kabi), Florence Kasumba (Ayo), Winston Duke (M'Baku), and Letitia Wright are the remaining confirmed cast that have yet to be spotted.
Not much about Black Panther's story has come out so far, outside of Nyong'o describing a rough version of the plot that included The Winter Soldier is secretly being held there.
With production underway, further chances for new set photos from Black Panther are likely to follow, so stay tuned to Screen Rant for updates as they hit.
