The DC superhero Blue Beetle, whose real name is Jaime Reyes, is a novice DC superhero who receives a high-tech suit from an ancient relic in the form of a scarab. In the comics, Jaime is the third character to take up the Blue Beetle mantle after Dan Garrett and Ted Kord, and he's a member of the DC superhero team Teen Titans. In the 2023 live-action DC movie, Jaime Reyes is played by Cobra Kai star Xolo Maridueña, who plays the protagonist Miguel Diaz in the Netflix sequel to the Karate Kid franchise.
Xolo Maridueña had his breakthrough role in Parenthood, where he starred as Victor Graham in seasons 4 through 6. He also appeared in shows such as Twin Peaks and Rush Hour. Becky G is mostly known as a singer who broke out after her YouTube gained major attention and who has gone on to release two albums - Mala Santa (2019) and Esquemas (2022). In 2017, she made the switch over to acting, and appeared as the Yellow Ranger, Trini Kwan, in Power Rangers and has appeared in Gnome Alone (2017), A.X.L. (2018) and Good Mourning (2022).
Susan Sarandon as Victoria Kord
Victoria Kord, the CEO of Kord Industries, is Blue Beetle's main antagonist. In DC Comics, Victoria Kord is the sister of the second Blue Beetle, Ted Kord. In the DC movie, Victoria Kord is played by Susan Sarandon, whose iconic roles include Louise in Thelma & Louise and Janet Weiss in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Sarandon has also received critical acclaim for her performances in films such as The Client, Lorenzo's Oil, and Atlantic City, and she won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance as Sister Helen Prejean in Dead Man Walking.
Bruna Marquezine as Jenny Kord
Jenny Kord is Victoria Kord's daughter, who provides Jaime with useful information about the nature and history of the Blue Beetle. She's played by Brazilian actress Bruna Marquezine, who's known for her roles in telenovelas such as Mulheres Apaixonadas, Em Familia, and Deus Salve o Rei (God Save the King), as well as the musical movie Breaking Through. George Lopez as Uncle Rudy Reyes

Raoul Max Trujillo as Conrad Carapax
Conrad Carapax is a DC Comics villain better known as Carapax the Indestructible Man, an armored villain who fought the first Blue Beetle, Daniel Garrett, in the source material. In the 2023 movie Blue Beetle, Conrad Carapax is played by Raoul Max Trujillo, best known for his role as Zero Wolf in Mel Gibson's Apocalypto. Trujillo has also appeared in several TV shows, including Jamestown and the Sons of Anarchy spinoff Mayans M.C, where he portrayed Che "Taza" Romero.
Adriana Barraza as Nana
Actress Adriana Barraza plays Nana, the Reyes family matriarch. She is known for her roles in acclaimed films such as Alejandro González Iñárritu's Babel, which earned her an Academy Award nomination, and Iñárritu's Amores Perros, where she co-starred with Gael García Bernal, as well as Hollywood movies like Dora and the Lost City of Gold, where she played Abuelita Valerie, and Rambo: Last Blood, where she played Maria Beltrán. Belissa Escobedo as Milagro Reyes
Milagro Reyes is Jaime's younger sister in DC Comics. In Blue Beetle, an older version of Milagro Reyes is played by Belissa Escobedo, a young actor on the rise with roles in Don’t Look Deeper, American Horror Stories, and The Baker and the Beauty. Escobedo also played Izzy in Hocus Pocus 2.
Elpidia Carrillo as Rocio Reyes
As seen in the easter-egg-filled Blue Beetle trailer, Rocio Reyes is Jaime Reyes' mother. She is played by Elpidia Carrillo, an actor with an extensive career in Mexican film and television, with dozens of credits in movies and shows such as Oliver Stone's Salvador and Ken Loach's Bread & Roses. Carrillo portrayed Sonia Perez in the acclaimed TV show Euphoria, appeared as Amelia in Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities, and played Anna Gonsalves in the iconic 1987 action horror Predator, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Damián Alcázar as Roberto Reyes
Roberto Reyes is Jaime Reyes' father in DC Comics and the movie Blue Beetle. Roberto is played by actor Damián Alcázar, known for his roles as Gilberto Rodríguez Orejuela in Narcos and Lord Sopespian in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.
