Although this was a tragic event, Dr. Now told her the pregnancy proved she was able to have a baby. She had tried for 10 years to get pregnant with Rick but hadn't been successful. Brianne lowered her weight to 293.5, and Dr. Now performed the skin removal operation.

After Brianne's skin removal surgery, she felt a lot of pain. Dr. Now discovered she had two blood clots that had traveled from her legs to her lungs. To avoid a pulmonary embolism, a doctor inserted a filter into her vein. They were able to save her life, and Brianne eventually recovered.

Brianne's Husband Rick Was Cheating On Her

After Brianne's skin surgery, Rick called Brianne from Oregon to tell her he didn't love her anymore. He had a new girlfriend, Jamie, and had been cheating on Brianne for quite some time. Brianne was devastated by this revelation, but she did not allow herself to stray from her weight-loss program. Brianne eventually went back to Oregon and lived with Cat. They bonded over missing Rick as well as their sadness and anger about his actions.

Brianne Had To Get Legal Protection

The situation following the divorce only intensified. Rick had a toxic history with Brianne preceding the divorce. Unsurprisingly, after the infidelity was revealed, Rick continued to threaten Brianne’s safety. Brianne was so worried for her security that she took out restraining orders against Rick as well as Jamie (via Looper).

In an interview with Starcasm, Brianne claimed, and a few anonymous sources confirmed, that Jamie had several other outstanding restraining orders against her. Additionally, several sources maintained that the “other woman” had been “kicked out” of at least three local churches. After Jaime allegedly attempted to hit Brianne, who was driving with a baby in the car, Brianne opted to seek legal assistance.

Brianne shared legal documents detailing the dates and legal actions executed by both parties. The initial document, dated February 26, 2021, provided proof of a “Restraining Order to Prevent Abuse.” This legally binding court order listed Brianne as the petitioner and Jamie as the respondent. Most concerningly, the document indicated that the perpetrator had inflicted abuse “within the last 180 days” (of February 26, 2021) and that Brianne was in immediate danger.

Fortunately, Brianne has left her past behind and has persevered despite the incalculable hurdles along the way.

The order taken out against Rick was dated just a few weeks later. While both Rick and Brianne signed, unlike Jamie’s order, a judge had not signed this document. It is possible that a judge had not yet overseen the case and that Jamie’s restraining order took precedence at the time. Fortunately, Brianne has left her past behind and has persevered despite the incalculable hurdles along the way.

At the end of Brianne's My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now? episode, Brianne weighed 230 pounds and had lost about 510 pounds. Brianne's Instagram photos show she has maintained her weight loss today. In an interview with TVSHOWSACE, Brianne revealed she got a job at the local hospital and considered attending nursing school. However, she has always wanted to be a singer and has auditioned for The Voice.
