The new Zombies map called The Tomb in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has numerous Easter Eggs, including the Gold Armor, a piece of powerful gear you can get to survive waves of undead. This equipment allows you to ively regenerate armor as you wear it, giving you continual defenses for your Operator. However, to gain this Gold Armor, you have to complete several tasks.
Before you start searching for the Gold Armor, try to collect a variety of good gear first. You'll need some powerful weapons and buffs to overcome the challenges tied to the Gold Armor, especially as more waves of undead begin to spawn. Try getting some Mod Augments or Field Upgrades in CoD: Black Ops 6 Zombies first, then start looking for the steps you need to complete.

How To Start Blood Rituals For The Gold Armor
Return The Heads Of Statues To Their Proper Place
The Gold Armor is rewarded for completing two different Blood Rituals unlocked on The Tomb map. To start these rituals, you have to at least unlock a hidden area of the map called The Dark Aether Nexus, a void-like location that mirrors The Tomb. This place can only be found when you find a purple crystal capable of teleporting you and your squad to the strange ethereal area.

10 Best Beginner Tips For Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies
The Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a familiar horde mode to veterans of the series, but beginners may need to learn how to survive.
Once you find a way inside the Dark Aether Nexus, go to where you unlocked a Pack-A-Punch. Once again, the structure of the Dark Aether reflects The Tomb, so you can navigate the location by ing landmarks from the base map. The Pack-A-Punch in CoD: Black Ops 6 Zombies looks like a large red and white vending machine, and can be found near the eastern border of the Dark Aether.
From here, you need to find two wooden crates scattered within the Dark Aether. By breaking two crates in the Dark Aether, you can find heads of statues you need to collect to initiate both Blood Rituals. The table below provides instructions for finding each severed statue head:
Statue Part |
Location |
---|---|
Statue Head #1 |
In the wooden crate opposite of the Jugger-Nog machine, heading east from the buff dispenser on a small platform. |
Statue Head #2 |
Near the south-west corner of the Dark Aether Nexus, in a wooden craft next to a small tree. This is directly along the wall near the Ossuary Portal leading back into The Tomb. |
When you gather both Statue Heads, return to The Tomb and go back to the starting Dig Site area. This is the place where you started this Zombies map introduced during CoD: Black Ops 6's Season 2 content. The Dig Site spawn area has two headless statues you can interact with, but putting either of the heads you found on a broken statue will immediately start a Blood Ritual.
How To Beat Blood Rituals
Defeat New Threats Within The Red Mists
Blood Rituals are similar to Lockdowns you may experience while hunting for other Easter Eggs in The Tomb. Whenever you place a Statue Head back on its statue at the Dig Site, red mist will creep into the area and keep you in it while the Blood Ritual starts. You have to defeat every enemy who spawns in the Blood Ritual to complete it and make steps toward getting the Gold Armor.
The first statue in the Dig Site can be found to the southwest, near the PhD Flopper Perk. The second statue is located opposite of the Dark Aether Nexus Portal to the east of the Dig Site, within the larger Mausoleum area.
Each statue has its own kind of zombie enemies in CoD: Black Ops 6 that appear during a Blood Ritual. One will have three Elite variants of the new Shock Mimic, a deceptively quick creature that disguises itself as ordinary objects. The other statue conjures Elite variations of the Doppelghast enemy type, which can be hard to bring down without strong weapons and gear.
The red mist that encloses you in the Dig Site for the Blood Rituals limits your visibility, making it very hard to face any enemies. Stay mobile during the Blood Rituals and target one Elite enemy at a time to eventually clear each statue's trial.
How To Get Gold Armor & How It Works
Restore Your Armor Indefinitely
Beating each Blood Ritual will cause both statues to create gold lines toward the Mausoleum, where two golden bull sculptures can be seen. When you walk up to the bulls, the golden beams of light will diverge and mark the outline of an armor vest on a nearby wall. From the newly made Wall Buy, you can get the Gold Armor for free and equip it to your Operator right away.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 & Warzone Season 02 - Release Date, New Maps, Modes, & More
Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and its Warzone mode is set to release soon, with new maps, modes, weapons, and more that you can explore.
The Gold Armor Vest Auto-Regenerates Armor slowly over time, allowing you to ively gain protection from enemies. As long as you aren't getting hit, you can build your armor to max before intense engagements and survive in fights for longer. This is a great equipment piece for any wave of Zombies, as you no longer need to worry about picking up armor as yours gets low for the rest of the match.
When paired with a powerful Wonder Weapon or other strong gear, the Gold Armor is a must-have to pursue other Easter Eggs in The Tomb. You'll want to get the Gold Armor in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 fast to contend with the stronger waves that will start appearing as you explore more of the desolate crypt map.
