When Rogers was aged several decades from having his Super Soldier Serum neutralized, Sam stepped up to take the mantle of Captain America and keep the legacy alive.
Though Sam eventually returned to his old identity, he's coming back to star as Captain America in Captain America: Symbol of Truth by Tochi Onyebuchi and R.B. Silva.
