The Bachelor's Rose Sombke, Dina Lupancu, and others over her attitude and tendency to victimize herself. As a result, she began isolating herself from the group.
Even Grant started noticing Carolina's withdrawn attitude during group dates and her interactions with the other women. Losing sight of her purpose on the show and focusing too much on "winning" over the other contestants led to her downfall. In the end, she was sent home in episode 5. Before leaving, she seemingly patched things up with Dina. However, in The Women Tell All special, her past actions resurfaced, and many of the contestants she wronged—including Dina—were ready to confront her.
The Women Were Calling Out Carolina From The Start To The End Of The Show
Carolina's Past Actions Resurfaced And Sparked Heated Arguments
Carolina made several enemies while competing for Grant's heart, including Rose and Dina. Carolina clashed with Rose after Rose mentioned that Grant thought of her while dancing with Carolina. Carolina later told Grant about it, making Rose look bad. In The Women Tell All special, Rose defended her comment, claiming Carolina had asked and seemed unbothered. Carolina confronting Grant was unexpected. The other contestants also confronted Carolina, leading her to say, "I feel like you guys are the type of women who blame the other woman, when your man is doing you dirty," shocking everyone.

At first, Dina and Carolina had each other's back, with Dina even defending her. However, the following week, Dina grew frustrated with Carolina's antics. Though they made up before leaving the show, their feud reignited on TikTok. Dina posted a video (@dinalupancu) implying she regretted defending her, prompting Carolina (@itscarolinasofia) to respond with a video threatening to expose their messages. Dina later claimed (via @dinalupancu at TikTok that she was just teasing next week's episode. Their feud was addressed, but it led to more arguments, with Dina insisting her video was a joke, but Carolina took it personally.
Carolina Could Barely Defend Herself
Many Women Confronted Her
Carolina's past actions were frequently the center of attention, and whenever she tried to defend herself, another former contestant would interrupt or cut her off. At one point, she repeatedly asked not to be interrupted, so she could share her side, which earned Carolina some heated backlash. However, it was clear that many of the women were too frustrated with her constant "twisting" of events, and refusing to take ability, to give her that chance. The host, Jesse Palmer, had to step in a few times to get back on track and move on from the harsh arguments.
Carolina was only able to argue that Dina's video felt like a personal attack, which led her to respond, but Dina quickly shut her down. It wasn't until she took the hot seat that she finally explained why she confronted Grant about Rose's comment. She claimed she simply wanted to "clear up things with him," so she could continue her journey. She wasn't trying to be one of The Bachelor's main villains, and denied creating drama to hurt Rose's chances with Grant. However, the other contestants remained skeptical about her reasoning.
Carolina Never Took ability
Carolina Deflected Blame Instead Of Owning Up
Despite sharing her side of the story, Carolina continued deflecting blame onto the other women, urging them to take ability for their own actions. This included The Bachelor's Sarafiena Watkins' distasteful remark about Zoe McGrady's dress, even though Sarafiena had already apologized before Carolina brought it up. However, Dina was quick to call out Carolina's supposed "ability" of what happened to Rose, pointing out that she never sincerely apologized for her role in the drama.
"I'm so sorry that Rose is upset."
That is not ability, Carolina.
Rose ed Dina's claim, adding that Carolina only apologized for exposing her after The Bachelor's Litia Garr confronted her about the impact of her actions. Instead of offering another apology, Carolina insisted she had already done enough and argued Grant should also face scrutiny for his role. She stood by her belief that she had been unfairly villainized despite apologizing to Rose, feeling that no matter what she did, she was always in the wrong.
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
