A new set photo from Bride of Chucky as two characters: Tiffany Valentine and the actress Jennifer Tilly. The meta-joke of Tilly playing herself continued in the subsequent sequels, and ever since Seed of Chucky, Tiffany has been living her life through the possessed actress. Curse of Chucky reintroduced Tiffany in the credits scene before Cult of Chucky showed the character picking up Nica Pierce (possessed by Chucky) at the end of the film.
Cult of Chucky directly set up Don Mancini's TV show, yet season 1 primarily focused on a new group of teenage characters. Tilly did have a substantial role however, helping Chucky raise his army of Good Guy dolls. The first season of the Child's Play TV show was unique in that it not only showed a younger version of Tiffany, portrayed by Blaise Crocker, but it also reintroduced the doll form of the character. In one of the final scenes of Chucky season 1, Tiffany takes Andy Barclay hostage, seemingly setting her up for a big role in season 2.
A new set photo of Chucky season 2 from Tilly herself now gives a fresh look at her meta return. The image shows Tilly standing in her character's bedroom in front of a mantle full of the actress' awards and pictures. Tilly also has a framed poster from her movie Bound as well as a portrait of herself from the mid-80s. Check out the actress' original post below:

Tilly is very active on social media and has continually shared behind-the-scenes images from Chucky season 2. Most of the photos don't reveal much about season 2's story, but she did confirm a few weeks ago that Lachlan Watson was playing Glen/Glenda, which had previously only been rumored. The actress' latest update isn't as significant; however, it makes it clear that Chucky season 2 is doubling down on the meta jokes surrounding Tilly. The Bound poster specifically is noteworthy since Chucky season 2 has cast Gina Gershon and Joe Pantoliano, who both co-starred with Tilly in the 1996 film.
Tilly, along with the other returning Child's Play veteran actors, is a big selling point for the TV show. That being said, it's unknown how Tiffany will return in human form. Tilly was thought to have died in Seed of Chucky when Tiffany possessed her body. However, since Nica survived going in and out of being possessed by Chucky, it's possible the Child's Play universe's version of Tilly could go on living her life as a famous actress now that Tiffany is back in her plastic skin. Regardless, seeing set photos of Tilly indicates that Chucky season 2 could give the actress even more screen time than she had last season.
