The Circle, a reality TV show-turned-social experiment, is officially coming back for more seasons. Based off the British version of the TV series, The Circle inspired Netflix to launch different versions of the show in and Brazil, as a part of its partnership with All3Media.

The idea behind The Circle is based off our current social media culture. Upon arrival to set, contestants are isolated within their own personal apartments, and can only communicate with other players via "The Circle," AKA a computer program that transcribes whatever they'd like to say into a text, as if they are direct messaging someone on social media. Contestants are given the option of entering the game as themselves or as a Catfish. Throughout the game, contestants are asked to rank their fellow players with the top two becoming the week's "influencers," giving them the power to "block" one person and eliminate them from the game. The top influencer at the game's end wins $100,000, and the contestant who wins the fan favorite award brings home $10,000.

According to a Michelle Buteau will also be returning. "Season 3 of the competition series The Circle is just around the corner, and season 2 was already one of our most popular unscripted shows of 2021 -- more than 14 million households tuned in within 28 days after it premiered in April," reps at Netflix told press. "Thanks to the overwhelming response, we've already renewed the show for two more seasons (4 and 5), so fans won't have to wait long to see the new twists and surprises in store as each cast of contestants strategizes to earn the ultimate cash prize as top influencer. The talented and quick-witted Michelle Buteau will return to host both seasons."

In an effort to see more fresh and diverse faces on their unscripted programming, Netflix will be launching the largest open reality series casting call. Reality TV star hopefuls will be able to submit a video of themselves to the streaming site's casting team at the new NetflixReality.com site. "Whether you love competition or cooking, dating or decor, style or a social experiment, we might have a show for you -- either now or someday soon," Brandon Riegg, vice president of unscripted and documentary series said. "Just select a category and submit your casting video to be considered for future seasons. To , you must be 18 years or older, and right now we're focused on the US, Canada, and the UK. No need for ring lights or glam, just be the real you!"

Netflix is pretty genius, creating a home base for aspiring reality stars to prove they've got what it takes to entertain the masses. The streaming site will not only receive millions of submissions for each of their unscripted programming, such as The Circle, but they'll also get new show ideas from the many creative, outgoing and loud personalities they're sure to virtually meet throughout the process. If someone has a ion that needs to be exposed in reality format, this is their chance to prove it.
