I started playing Cookie Run: Kingdom shortly after its release in 2021, and I've been a big fan ever since. After seing the highs and lows of the fanbase, I can't deny that there has been a massive surge in popularity ever since the addition of the beast cookies, and I completely understand why. They tied in beautifully to the main story and brought more development to the beloved ancient cookies, and they all have their own world exploration episodes in Beast-Yeast where players can get to know them.

Shadow Milk Cookie in particular drew a lot of people into the fandom, and I often see players worry that others will become disinterested in the game once the beast updates are over. This is something that concerns me a little, too, given the number of people unenthusiastic about the Fire Spirit update. I absolutely love the beasts, and I'm excited to see what's in store for Silent Salt, but there are great reasons to continue playing the game after Beast-Yeast. If you enjoyed the stories of the beasts, here are some other storylines you can look forward to.

The Main Plot Can't Conclude Without Dark Enchantress

Dark Enchantress Cookie is the main antagonist in Crispia's world exploration and has been present as an NPC since the first month of release. Given that she is currently based in Beast-Yeast, I think that the story won't be able to conclude without her, and it's quite probable that the beast cookies will reappear and possibly team up with her in the final episodes. We may also see an alliance between the beast and ancient cookies in order to defeat her, but I think that's more unlikely.

Cookie Run: Kingdom - Best Toppings & Beascuits For Pavlova Cookie

Pavlova Cookie is a cupid-themed ranged character in Cookie Run: Kingdom, and is Eternal Sugar Cookie's sidekick. What is the best build for him?

Dark Enchantress Cookie is planned to play a large role in the story for CRK's 5th anniversary, when she'll be released as a playable character. Even if she ends up not having any connections to the beast cookies, she is the biggest enemy of the ancient cookies, who will have all received awakened forms by the time she appears again, so we can definitely expect to see a massive showdown between them. In order to match their power, Dark Enchantress could perhaps have her own version of an awakened form, though that would be catastrophic news for the Kingdom arena.

Pitaya Will Definitely Get Some Company In The Dragon Rarity At Some Point

Cookie Run Ovenbreak Dragons

It's been confirmed that after the release of Dark Enchantress and the beast cookies, the story will start to focus on the dragons. These characters aren't technically cookies, but they do take on a cookie form. There is currently one dragon cookie in the game, Pitaya Dragon Cookie, who was probably introduced early due to their ties to the lore of Hollyberry Cookie and Fire Spirit Cookie. I can imagine that the release of the dragons will be very similar to the beasts, and they'll likely have their own continent and world exploration episodes.

Snapdragon Cookie is a dragon, but does not have the dragon rarity. The reasoning for this might be because they're a baby, so they don't have the power of a fully grown dragon yet. This cookie provides a considerable buff to characters of the dragon rarity, so you can probably expect Snapdragon to become the standard cookie in arena teams when the other dragons are released.

Other than Pitaya, there are four dragons in Cookie Run: Ovenbreak that Kingdom players will eventually be able to meet: Ananas Dragon Cookie, Longan Dragon Cookie, Lotus Dragon Cookie, and Lychee Dragon Cookie. These characters are stronger than the Eternal Sugar Cookie in a heartbeat. I'm most excited about Longan Dragon, who was the final dragon to be released into Ovenbreak and is arguably the most powerful.

The Elemental Guardians Are More Powerful Than The Beast Cookies In The CRK Canon

You Can Expect The CRK Arena To Change Drastically

Cookie Run Kingdom Fire Spirit Cookie First Encounter Gacha Animation

With the release of Fire Spirit Cookie, Millennial Tree Cookie will probably soon follow, given that he is the last of the elemental guardians who have appeared in the game and has yet to become playable. This will probably continue the plot line following Dark Enchantress's scheme to create the Ultimate Cookie, which may actually link back to the beast cookies. All five of them are based on pure ingredients, and I like the idea that they're either prototypes or components of the Ultimate Cookie.

Another fan-favorite from Ovenbreak, Timekeeper Cookie, is set to be released in the future of CRK. With the power to control time itself, I'm sure that she's going to turn the arena upside down. Her existence has actually been foreshadowed in Kingdom for a while, given the appearance of time skippers. I think her update is going to be extremely fun, and we may see another purpose for this common item, perhaps as a currency for an exclusive shop or even a gacha.

Another Cookie who has been foreshadowed in Cookie Run: Kingdom for years is Sugar Swan Cookie, who is on similar levels of power to, if not stronger than, the dragons.

Twizzly Gummy Cookie references the TBD (Time Balance Department) in a few voice lines, so it's possible that we could see further content for her, and we could also get another look into the different universes and dimensions of the Cookie Run universe. Interdimensional Super Mayhem was one of my favorite updates, and for anyone who wasn't around for this story, it would be a shame to miss out again. The story of Cookie Run: Kingdom is much larger than the ancient and beast cookies, and you should definitely stick around to see it.
