Candy Apple Cookie is one of the newer additions to Cookie Run: Kingdom. As the sidekick to Shadow Milk Cookie, she was introduced in the "Spire of Shadows" update. She has a knack for trickery and loves to deceive other cookies.
She is a bomber cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom who defaults to the middle position. At the start of a battle, she will have exclusive dialogue with her master, Shadow Milk, if he is also present in the party. Despite being a sidekick, Candy Apple Cookie is a formidable damage dealer and can benefit your whole team with buffs - so which toppings and beascuits are needed to fully optimize this?

Which Toppings Are Best For Candy Apple?
Candy Apple Cookie Should Be Equipped With Swift Chocolate or Deceitful Chocolate Toppings
When Candy Apple Cookie performs her ability “Apple of my eye,” she slams down a giant lollipop on her enemies, debuffing and dealing damage to them. The lollipop will then shatter into candy shards that will deal extra damage, grant the party HP shields, and increase their attack. The most effective way to maximize this ability’s effect is by focusing on her cooldown since this will quickly weaken your opponents and make the rest of your team more powerful.
I tested out her damage output of different toppings by running through a world exploration stage twice with the same team. Candy Apple Cookie did more damage by herself when equipped with Searing Raspberries, but my team did more damage overall when she was equipped with Swift Chocolates.
Swift Chocolate toppings are The correct toppings needed to achieve this effect. Like Shadow Milk Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom, she can also use Deceitful toppings. Searing Raspberries would also be a decent choice for her to increase her damage output, but cooldown is generally the better option so that she can consistently buff your team - especially if she is paired with another major damage dealer. Attack and cooldown should also be the substats you look out for when choosing specific topping pieces.
Which Beascuits Are Best For Candy Apple?
Focus On Damage And Cooldown
As a bomber cookie, Candy Apple will benefit from a Spicy Beascuit. When choosing which buffs to include on the Beascuit, a few different options work for her. You could decide to go for a full cooldown build, but it also benefits her to add extra buffs to attack and damage resist by.

Another buff to look out for when resetting beascuit stats is damage resistance. Especially in the arena where you’ll have opponents who likely have the ability to attack past the charge and defense cookies in Cookie Run: Kingdom, Candy Apple Cookie’s survivability is quite low with her base defense as a bomber cookie. In Cookie Run: Kingdom, Candy Apple Cookie is an effective damage dealer but also significantly benefits the rest of her team when built correctly with a quick cooldown.
