The next powerful cookie to be added into Cookie Run: Kingdom will be Eternal Sugar Cookie. Her release has been anticipated by fans since she was first shown alongside the other beast cookies such as Burning Spice Cookie and Mystic Flour Cookie. Though her arrival is quickly approaching in the first week of May, fans don't have much information about her yet, other than her name, design, and a few very minor details.

However, there are some safe assumptions to be made about her type and place in your team. If you're looking to start investing in certain skill powders early, then there are some things you can definitely rule out. With the slim knowledge we currently have about her, here are some predictions on Eternal Sugar Cookie's place in CRK.

Type Predictions For Eternal Sugar In Cookie Run: Kingdom

Ambush, Bomber, Ranged, Or

Similarly to the Ancient Cookies, the beast cookies appear to form a full standard team. For example, it's very unlikely that we'll end up with more than two front-liners, rear attackers, and so forth. Though cookie placement isn't always limited to their type - take, for example, Caramel Arrow Cookie, who is a ranged cookie but takes the front position in a team, we can probably rule out the typical frontline types, Charge and Defense. We already have Burning Spice Cookie as a charge cookie, and Hollyberry Cookie is getting her awakened form after Eternal Sugar's release.

Silent Salt also could end up as a defense type, judging by their design. With that being said, I can't really see "the beast of sloth" being at the forefront of the battle anyway. The most probable options are Ranged, Ambush, , and Bomber. The beast and ancient teams lack ambush and cookies, and I agree with Reddit Metaspark that she seems fitting for the bomber type. She probably won't be a cookie since we already have Mystic Flour Cookie as a healer, but it's plausible that Devsisters could release her as an overpowered buffer.

My personal prediction is that she is going to be an Ambush Cookie. The beast cookies were first announced in the "An Ancient Force Awakens" promotion video, where she's shown calmly sleeping before snapping and unleashing a devastating attack. Although the wolf-in-sheep's clothing was Shadow Milk's theme, she seems like the type to lie in wait and lure her enemies in before she strikes - which is the definition of ambush. Since she is themed around Sloth, it would make sense for her to draw her enemies in instead of actively seeking them out.

What Could Eternal Sugar Cookie’s Abilities Be Like?

A Debuffer And Possible Counter To Current Meta Cookies

As the beast of sloth, I think that Eternal Sugar Cookie is definitely going to have some kind of sleep/drowsiness debuff, similarly to Moonlight Cookie, no matter which type she ends up as. She's shown holding a harp in her promotion art, so she could play this instrument to cause her opponents to sleep upon hearing the song. Her appearance has both devilish and angelic features, so I wouldn't be surprised if that ends up being a large part of her character - if she ends up as a ranged cookie, I can see her having attacks inspired by Cupid.

Although this will probably be quite annoying for CRK arena players, I believe that Eternal Sugar cookie will probably have some kind of revival mechanic. This may be an ability to revive herself in battle, or possibly being able to counter cookies such as Fire Spirit Cookie, Awakened Pure Vanilla Cookie, Shadow Milk Cookie and Golden Cheese Cookie who can come back once per battle. Angels and devils are creatures which are linked to the afterlife, so I could see her being able to make sure these cookies stay there.

If her attacks are elemental at all, they may deal poison-type damage. She's based off sugar, which is famously known for being unhealthy/being able to rot teeth. It would also link to her lazy personality, since she would be allowing the poison to do all the work instead of attacking much herself. If this ends up being true, then she'll deal some insane damage when paired with the Deceitful Trio. I imagine that her ability will have a very long cooldown time, so you should probably stock up on some swift chocolate toppings for her.

What Role Might Eternal Sugar Cookie Play In CRK’s Story?

A Possible Redemption Arc Or Devastating News For Hollyberry Cookie

We don't have a lot of information on Eternal Sugar's personality, but she has the potential to be absolutely devastating to the Ancient Cookies. A lot of people have pointed out that, compared to the other ancient cookies, her counterpart, Hollyberry Cookie, has the most to lose. Her kingdom, friends, son, and grandchildren are at stake, and Eternal Sugar may end up luring Hollyberry and anyone who she takes with her into a dream-like state.

If my prediction of her being able to counter cookies who can revive themselves is true, then this may be explained in battle as her dragging cookies on the brink of death into her "dream world."

When the beast Cookies were first announced on the CRK YouTube channel, Eternal Sugar's introduction shows her causing cracks to form in the sky behind her. Maybe this could be the false reality of the "dream world" falling apart. Despite everything, I think Hollyberry Cookie is probably the most likely ancient to prosper after meeting her beast counterpart. She's the most optimistic out of the five ancients, and if Pure Vanilla Cookie came close to getting through to Shadow Milk Cookie, then Eternal Sugar Cookie might have a chance of a redemption arc.

Since episode eight of Beast-Yeast, it would be interesting to see one of the Beast Cookies becoming genuinely open to change. Though on the other hand, Eternal Sugar may take advantage of Hollyberry's kindness and use it against her. In one way or another, it's safe to say that Eternal Sugar Cookie is going to take the Kingdom arena by storm, and will probably change the meta of Cookie Run: Kingdom for a long time.
