"The Might of the Ancients" is a permanent event in Cookie Run: Kingdom where players can obtain up to three of the ancient cookies after completing certain tasks. This is a great opportunity to expand your team, fill roles which you may be lacking, and learn more about the backstories of the ancients. It’s particularly useful for players new to the game, or those who want a fresh start. There are no time limits on when this needs to be completed, so any player that hasn’t done so already can do this event at any time.
In total, there are five ancient cookies to choose from, but the event comes in three parts. In part one, you can choose between Pure Vanilla Cookie, Hollyberry Cookie, or Dark Cacao Cookie—in part two, it’s between Golden Cheese Cookie and White Lily Cookie. The final part allows you to choose any one of the five ancients. Though you may be tempted to choose those which you don’t already have, you should definitely focus on upgrading or obtaining some more than others.
The Best Might Of The Ancients Choice
Pure Vanilla Cookie And Golden Cheese Cookie Are The Better Picks
Currently, the best cookies to choose in Might of the Ancients are Pure Vanilla Cookie and Golden Cheese Cookie due to their powerful Awakened Forms. Pure Vanilla Cookie is currently the best healer cookie you can use in the arena, being able to revive one fallen teammate per battle in his awakened form as well as restoring more HP than even Mystic Flour Cookie. He is also objectively the most versatile team leader in CRK, and will improve the defense of every cookie allied with him, no matter their element type.

Who is the Best Team Leader In Cookie Run: Kingdom?
Players can select one team leader in their Cookie Run: Kingdom party, but which leader provides the best buffs for your chosen team comp?
Golden Cheese Cookie is the superior choice between her and White Lily Cookie at this moment in time. She is a great damage dealer and synergizes well with other earth-type cookies, especially those from her kingdom, such as Burnt Cheese Cookie. Golden Cheese Cookie can revive herself once per battle by retreating back into her sarcophagus, meaning that when paired with Awakened Pure Vanilla Cookie, she can make two full recoveries after being reduced to 0 HP.
Between Golden Cheese and Pure Vanilla, I think Pure Vanilla Cookie is likely to stay in the meta teams for longer. We're already seeing the release of lots of powerful DPS characters such as Fire Spirit Cookie, and with characters such as Eternal Sugar Cookie yet to come out, Golden Cheese may not be a great investment. Despite this, if you don't have any good damage dealers but have decent , then she is still a great choice for climbing the arena ranks in the meantime.
Dark Cacao was part of the standard arena team set-up before the release of Burning Spice Cookie.
Dark Cacao Cookie also has an awakened form, but there are a few better choices than him for your frontline cookies. For example, the beast-rarity Dark Cacao Cookie at the moment.
Hollyberry Cookie And White Lily Cookie May See Future Improvements
White Lily Cookie Will Probably End Up As The Most Powerful Ancient
Even though the best choices currently are Pure Vanilla Cookie and Golden Cheese Cookie, two of the ancients are due to receive updates in the future. Hollyberry Cookie and White Lily Cookie have not yet started in their own beast-yeast episodes, and are not able to be awakened at the moment. Every time a cookie has received an awakened form, they have immediately re-entered the arena meta. For example, Pure Vanilla Cookie went from one of the worst healers to an unmatched one.
It can’t be guaranteed that awakened Hollyberry and White Lily Cookie are going to change the climate of the game as drastically as the last three ancient cookies did. However, it is unlikely that Devsisters will introduce them without a good reason for players to build them—if they don't end up being useful in the arena, they may be in other gamemodes such as Guild Battle. White Lily is of particular interest, since she is scheduled to be the last cookie to receive an awakened form, meaning she is the most likely to be a worthwhile investment.

Cookie Run: Kingdom - Best Team Comps & Bonuses
What are the team combination bonuses and the best teams for the Arena and Guild Battle in Cookie Run: Kingdom?
Even though Golden Cheese Cookie is the safer choice between the two, I’ve been investing in White Lily Cookie since the other ancients may have fallen out of the meta like Dark Cacao by the time she receives her update. Hollyberry Cookie is a little harder to place as a defense cookie—Elder Faerie Cookie is appealing because he isn’t restrained by arena limits while Hollyberry is, and it’ll be a big surprise if she ends up being able to counter Burning Spice Cookie, though it certainly is possible.
Tips For Completing Might Of The Ancients
You'll Complete Most Of The Missions Through Normal Progression
No matter who you pick during this event, the challenges for each part will always be the same. After you complete one mission, you will be able to use your chosen ancient cookie in different areas of the game—once you have completed all four, they will become a fully playable character. If you’ve already obtained them and only chose them in this event to upgrade them, you won’t have to worry about this, and will receive the upgrade after completing the tasks.

All the tasks are pretty straightforward, but make sure you have lots of stamina jellies on hand since you have to complete lots of Beast-Yeast and regular world exploration stages. You should also collect some beascuit dough, since the latter two stages require you to reset and upgrade a handful of beascuits. The Might of the Ancients is a really useful and accessible event for newer players to build up their teams in Cookie Run: Kingdom, and if you haven't completed it yet, you should make sure to make the most informed choice you can.
