Alongside Hollyberry Cookie's Awakened form, the latest update of Cookie Run: Kingdom makes Sugarfly Cookie a playable character, much to the delight of many fans. When players meet her during world exploration, she's a loyal follower of Eternal Sugar Cookie alongside Pavlova Cookie. Sugarfly has one of the most tragic stories which players can learn more about in the newest episode of Beast-Yeast, which seems to have been inspired by certain Greco-Roman mythological figures.
As a playable cookie, she's a capable who takes up the rear position of her team. Compared to some of the other characters who have been recently released, she has a rather simple ability, but is quite effective nonetheless. Here are the best things to keep in mind when building Sugarfly Cookie in CRK.
Best Toppings For Sugarfly Cookie
She Can Benefit From A Lot Of Different Stats, But She Should Use ionate Chocolates If You Get Your Hands On Some
When Sugarfly uses her skill “Butterfly’s whisper,” she heals allies periodically and scatters sugar dust across the battlefield, which increases critical hit chance and critical damage for all the cookies in your team. She has a very short base cooldown of only six seconds, so she is pretty efficient even before being built. You can get it down to four seconds with a one-second starting cooldown with a set of chocolate toppings, which allows her to spam her ability and continuously heal your team, which is usually the best strategy for building characters in Cookie Run: Kingdom.

Sugarfly Cookie is quite squishy, so she could also use some damage resistance substats on her toppings to help her survive a bit longer. Almond toppings can also help her stay alive, though it’s not really worth the loss of buffs for the rest of your team. Despite being from Eternal Sugar Cookie’s garden, she can’t use Indolent toppings like Pavlova Cookie. If you’re using raspberries, almonds or chocolates, there are "ionate" resonant variants of these toppings which she can use instead, and these are the superior choice for her.

Cookie Run: Kingdom - Best Toppings & Beascuits For Pavlova Cookie
Pavlova Cookie is a cupid-themed ranged character in Cookie Run: Kingdom, and is Eternal Sugar Cookie's sidekick. What is the best build for him?
Raising her attack stat can also make her more effective, since this determines how much she can heal at once. I'd recommend bringing down her cooldown first, as after testing out teams against each other in the arena, I've found that she's slightly more powerful with a full set of chocolates compared to a full set of raspberries. Although you should prioritize toppings with lots of cooldown and damage resistance substats, attack can still prove useful if you're stuck for finding other options.
Best Beascuits For Sugarfly Cookie
A Legendary Hearty Beascuit, Still Focusing On Cooldown
Sugarfly Cookie isn't part of any specific element, meaning she will benefit the most from a regular legendary hearty beascuit. When it comes to her beascuit stats, you should keep the same things in mind as her toppings and focus on lowering her cooldown, while optionally increasing her damage resistance, attack, or amplify buff ability, depending on how lucky you got in of topping stats. The maximum amount you can lower a cookie's cooldown by is 60%, so if you somehow get lucky enough to reduce it to somewhere around that number, you should consider some other stats.
You can check the percentage of which you've managed to lower your cookies' cooldown times by going to their information page and clicking the icon in the right-hand corner of their power level. Above their beascuit effects, you'll see a few different icons and numbers - the clock with an arrow pointing downwards will have the percentage next to it.
Athough Sugarfly Cookie isn't very effective in the arena and still doesn't compare to the likes of other healer and cookies like Pure Vanilla Cookie, she's very useful in world exploration and is a fantastic cookie to have in your team if you're just starting out. She's a gorgeous addition to your cookie collection, and can currently be obtained from her own featured gacha. I'd like to believe we might see her play a small role in White Lily Cookie's story, given her past affiliation with the Faeries in Cookie Run: Kingdom.
