According to Tesla, has continued to try to improve its cars.
Adding numerous safety and entertainment features, Tesla's are as advanced now as possible and give drivers many new options for an optimal experience.
Disney+
Disney+ has become a phenomenon. With numerous original TV shows and movies, the app is a look into the history of one of Hollywood's most famous studios and brands. It has made its way to numerous devices and this year showed up on another one.
Tesla now officially has Disney+ . Being added to Tesla Theatre, this allows parents driving the car an opportunity to give their kids the option to watch some of the most revered movies of all time.
Autopilot Speed Increase
Earlier this year, Tesla added an update to its autopilot feature. The feature, one of the car's most noteworthy, has been a staple since the car's earliest days but just added a new update. The max speed, previously 80, is now 85 mph.
While not a huge upgrade, it is a rather cool one that shows the company has more faith in the car being able to handle higher speeds on autopilot. Do not expect to be in any Hollywood car chases though.
Green Traffic Light Chime
While flashier options may catch the eye of the public, Tesla has added some new safety features. One such feature is the Green Light Chime. It sends out a chime when the light you are waiting at turns green, for a less alert driver.
While not one of the flashier updates, this is important for the safety of drivers. Nothing is more annoying than a driver who does not know the light just turned green, and this will help fix those issues.
Sonic
Sega just seems to put and NPCs, Sonic the Hedgehog continues to get adaptations to this day, and can now be played in the Tesla.
A combination of speed and speed, the original Sonic is a timeless game that still captures the imaginations of children to this day. On a long road trip, this will give kids something to keep them occupied.
Speed Limit Assist
Adding another safety feature, Tesla can now detect speed limits in the area the car is driving. Using the car's cameras, it will see the speed limits and show it on the screen in the front of the car.
Taking away having to look around for speed limit signs is a good step in the right direction. Doing this gives the driver more time to focus on the road. In addition, it also makes sure that the driver does not miss the speed limit, and ends up going way too fast in the area they are driving in.
Windshield Wiper Defrost
One of the more annoying things about the winter is getting the ice off of windshield wipers after a snowy day. Long and time-consuming, it takes up valuable time and energy. Now, Teslas have windshield wiper defrosters.
Found under the climate control popup, the defrosters will melt that ice and snow off of the wipers. Doing this will give back valuable minutes as s can go on to tackle the day, but will continue to make the cars more expensive than most in the Fast and Furious movies.
Czech and Turkish Language Available
The people of the Czech Republic and Turkey have a nice surprise going their way. The car's touchscreen is now viewable in their native language, making the Tesla more available for citizens of the country.
Being an international brand, this is a big development. Adding multiple languages helps build the brand and get these cars to other parts of the world.
Hide Phone Call Card
One issue some had with Tesla was that when making a phone call, the card would block the next turn. Thankfully, Tesla listened and now the phone call card can be hidden during the call.
While it should have been an option earlier, it is nice that is finally available. Now when driving the car, nobody has to worry about the possibility of going the wrong way as they can now see where they're supposed to go.
Bottom Bar Customization
s of Tesla now have more options than ever before on the bottom bar. s can now add controls such as defrosters and windshield wipers to the bottom bar, adding shortcuts to the options for the car.
On the road, a lot of things come rather quickly and happen all at once. The new options on the bottom bar will help drivers be as aware of their surroundings as ever, make driving a lot easier in the process, and possibly help with clutter from tech gadgets in the car.
Cabin Camera Alerts
Just because the autopilot is on does not mean the driver should not be focusing on the road. Tesla is aware of this and now has cabin cameras to help out. Noticing when drivers are not being attentive, the cameras will alert the driver to get their eyes back on the road.
Helping keep everyone on the road safe, this is also a reminder that these cars are not perfect. Even with options like autopilot, the driver must keep their eyes on the road at all times.
