Skippy is a rare and special gun within very important for saving time. This gun is one of the best pistols for a very specific reason, so it is worth the hassle.
Aside from being a gun that talks, this gun also has a feature that players can use to make all their shots auto-headshots. This makes it so that when the player hip fires, the aim will automatically sync to an enemy's head instead of just their body in general. This makes the weapon far more deadly than others available to the player.
Where to Find Skippy, the Talking Gun, in Cyberpunk 2077
Vista Del Rey in the Heywood district. This quest will be labeled as very dangerous. Track this job and run down to the area. There the player will find the body of a man lying in an alleyway. He'll be between a dumpster and mattress sitting in the alley, next to an open briefcase with a gun in it. This gun is Skippy. However, there is more to be done before the gun is officially the players.
The gun will boot up a hologram of a bullet man and speak about detecting new fingerprints. It will go on a bit of a tangent about being a prototype smart weapon with A.I. Anytime the player asks Skippy about himself, Skippy will treat the player as if they are hard of hearing or dumb. Unfortunately for the player, Skippy has been completely wiped. He has no intel on who his owner was or where he came from. After a bit of back and forth with Skippy being quite the comedic relief, he'll tell players of his different mode options.
- Puppy Loving Pacifist - This mode will make Skippy automatically aim towards the enemies' lower extremities.
- Stone Cold Killer - This mode will make Skippy automatically aim for the head of every enemy.
Either way, the best part about this gun is that it doesn't need to be shot perfectly at the enemy. Much like a heat-seeking missile, this pistol has an auto-locking feature that makes it always strike the target. The settings just tell it which part to lock onto. After this, the player is all set to head on their way with a new deadly weapon in their pocket.
