In the vast canvas of Havok. Both mutant leaders have expressed themselves as capable of great feats of power and fortitude that can be quite devastating in nature... potentially reaching the levels of deities.

After decades of Havok pulling his punches, Howard Mackie and Ron Lim's Mutant X finale issue #32 finally showcases the raw strength of the youngest Summers brother when he is pitted against insurmountable odds. With Havok's son Scotty, the X-Men, and a sizable chunk of Earth-1238's other costumed superheroes out of commission, Alex is forced to step up against the machinations of the infamous cosmic entity known as the "Beyonder". This Beyonder is vastly less friendly from his previous encounters with Earth's heroes (such as Secret Wars) and is seeking to advance his cosmic dominance. Even against the mystical defenses of Doctor Strange, Beyonder proves quite a formidable threat and will stop at nothing to gain the Nexus of All Realities, located firmly within the body of Alex Summers.

Following his previous defeat of the Goblin Queen, Alex unknowingly bonded with the Queen's main source of interest known as the wife Madelyne Pryor and makes a continuous bid for his ultimate power.

Alex Summers' Havok Was Once A Multiversal God

Havok & Goblin Queen

Eventually, Havok reaches a point of no return within the battle, becoming a being of pure multiversal capacity. This allows him to match strengths with the equally powerful Goblin Queen, managing to give her a worthy brawl throughout the cosmos. As such, the epic battle culminates with Summers returning Madelyne to her own state of control and consciousness.

Havok and his brother Cyclops may not have been born as gods per se, but Alex surely went out like one. As Havok notes in the closing pages of Mutant X #32, "I am tapping into raw power which will never again be unleashed in this or any other dimension". The battle with the Goblin Queen far ever exceeds anything the mutant has previously proven capable of or may ever accomplish again with the X-Men. The power Alex held at his fingertips is not privileged for any typical mortal but for a worthy force to protect the Marvel multiverse and the inhabitants who reside within it. Havok ultimately finds himself a "causality" of his opportunity at Godhood, all at the cost of saving those he loves and cherishes.
