Netflix's Daredevil TV show, Daredevil: Born Again will be tied to the original series.
While the Daredevil: Born Again TV show has yet to get a premiere date on Disney+, Cox is finally talking about the return of Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson as Karen and Foggy, respectively. At the recent AwesomeCon (via Collider,) the British actor broke his silence on his former Daredevil co-stars returning to the MCU for Daredevil: Born Again, sharing the following:
Aw it’s so cool, man. So cool. Yeah, it was pretty heartbreaking when they weren’t around initially. When we came back to filming and they had made some changes, which you guys obviously probably read about and stuff, you know, it was clear that Foggy and Karen are kind of the heartbeat of our show. They always were. So [it feels] really special to have them back. Huge shout out to Deborah and to Elden. I know there’s been photos, there were some set photos that came out, so I know I can talk about it because it's on the internet. But it was really sweet to have some scenes together again.

Daredevil Born Again: Everything You Need To Know
After being teased in MCU films and television shows, Matt Murdock returned to the screen for a Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again.
Why Daredevil: Born Again Needed The Creative Overhaul
While the road to Daredevil: Born Again has been less than smooth, its trajectory appears to be more in line with what audiences had been hoping for from the installment. The revelation that Daredevil: Born Again was undergoing a creative overhaul after having filmed the initial first couple of episodes came close alongside reports that Matt Murdock didn't suit up in this original version until a few episodes in, and that Born Again was initially set to miss several iconic Daredevil characters, suggesting it would've faced immediate complaints from audiences.
Cox's comments about Foggy and Karen's return only highlight this further, as the duo are crucial players in Matt Murdock's overall life. While Marvel Studios may not have officially announced their returns, the moment Woll and Henson were spotted on the Daredevil: Born Again set with Cox through photos solidified they would appear in some capacity in the new series. Even though it will now take longer for Daredevil: Born Again to come out on Disney+, the alterations being made are seemingly well worth the wait for those hoping the new show would match the bar set by its predecessor.
