With so many characters taking up the Flash mantle, the debate of who is the fastest rages on among fans of the speedster. Barry Allen and Wally West have settled the debate of who's the fastest between them, but Wally has yet to be compared to the rest of the Flash family. With newer characters such as Bart Allen and Wallace West, the Flash mantle will continue to be ed down, with every speedster hosting a unique set of skills.
The Flash mantle es down from mentor to mentee once they were deemed ready to go off into the world and make their mark, but each Flash is shown to have a unique relationship to the Speed Force. This helps to distinguish who is who, but also provides insight on how the Speed Force affects different bodies and minds. This allows a speedster to show off certain powers that are specific to them.
Wally West Is The Most Accomplished Flash Because He Outran Death.
Considered impossible on all levels, outrunning death is a feat that no one but Wally West has ever accomplished. Not only did he outrun his own death, he also outran the death of the entire DC Universe in The Flash #141 by Mark Millar, Pop Mhan, Joshua Hood, Chris Ivy, Tom McCraw, and Gaspar Saladino. Defeating a Black Flash is not something any speedster can claim to have done, much less defeating it by going to the very end of the Universe where death wasn't even a concept. Through accomplishing this, Wally cemented himself as an extremely powerful hero who may have just discovered an immunity to death through his speed.
Wally's abilities far exceed that of his mentor, Barry Allen, and he has proven himself as The Flash, claiming the title for himself in current continuity. He could quite literally outrun anything that the Universe throws at him, including its own death. So by staking his claim on the title of the fastest Flash by outrunning death, he just proved that his unique relationship with the Speed Force truly sets him apart from other speedsters.
