In a Reddit post by ReddVevyy (tagged as mature content), the has posted what Afton's corpse looks like inside the Springtrap suit in Dead by Daylight. The corpse has an expression almost frozen in laughter, similar to the grin that Springtrap maintains in the game. The details are immaculate, with almost purple skin and the ankle guts from FNAF.

A Major Antagonist With A Lot Of Lore

Afton and FNAF as a whole have some very deep lore. Afton was the founder of Afton Robotics, LLC, and the co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment. Throughout the extensive story of FNAF and a lot of fan theories, Afton is often considered the major antagonist of the first few games, despite not appearing as Springtrap until FNAF3. After murdering several children over many years, Afton is killed when he puts on the Spring Bonnie suit to escape from the tormenting ghosts of children he has killed, and water gets inside the suit, killing him and sealing him inside.

Afton comes back to life and adorns Springtrap as his new killer persona. He was later killed again when he became Scraptrap, after the pizzeria burned, which was Henry Emily's revenge plan. Now that Afton's era is over, The Mimic is set to take over the major antagonist role in the next installment of the series.

The FNAF crossover with DBD was announced almost a year ago. With the Public Beta Test now active, he is seeing a lot of play, and fans seem to not be able to get enough. His power is all about throwing a fire axe to injure Survivors, and he can also pull it out if close enough, scare the player, and then immediately pick them up to put them on a hook. He also has a second power that lets him go through doors near generators, and if a Survivor is caught in the door transitions, they are immediately grabbed and can be hooked, making him a scary presence.

The Entity takes Springtrap to the Realms before the events of FNAF3, based on his DBD lore. This crossover has been highly anticipated, and with new details, like finally revealing what Afton looks like in the suit, this spooky addition to Dead by Daylight is sure to please fans of both franchises.
