In the Marvel universe, the Deadpool's wake. This happens in the first story arc of 2018's Deadpool vol. 7. The arc was written by Skottie Young and drawn by Nic Klein.
After having his mind wiped of his previous moral progress, Deadpool sought to reinvigorate his mercenary-for-hire business. However, struggling to gain the respect of his clientele, he concocted a scheme in order to drum up some business. He journeyed through space to an alien known as King Lokk, and bargained to unleash a cosmic threat which he could then stop, making him look like an incredibly capable hero. Lokk agreed, offering up an obscure Celestial known as Groffon to try and destroy Earth. The only thing that could destroy Groffon was a weapon which Deadpool possessed.
This story arc is completely ridiculous from beginning to end - it even features Deadpool completely naked wearing nothing but a unicorn floaty. One key component to this plot is the fact that one of Marvel's Celestial space gods is a disgusting monster who attacks entire planets with projectile vomit. Usually, the Celestials are portrayed as impossibly wise; so enlightened that even speaking to them risks breaking the minds of mere mortals. In contrast, Groffon possesses a Hulk-like intellect, bellowing, "You cannot stop the regurge of your planet!" It's a moment that totally destroys the Celestials' mystique, as one of their number is revealed to be a revolting (but deadly) joke.
While most fans know Thor killed Wade and didn't appear to care - but is particularly prominent here in introducing a disgusting, oafish Celestial to Marvel canon.
As a joke character who straddles the line between Marvel's official stories and its acknowledged non-canon parodies, Deadpool is in a relatively unique position. It's ultimately down to fans whether they choose to ignore that he's meant to have inspired Kraven's famous defeat of Spider-Man, or worked as Galactus' personal assassin. However, even in the comics of other characters, he's often able to do the seemingly impossible, suggesting that his comic-aware outlook really does give him the ability to warp reality in his favor, whether that means being able to pull weapons out of thin air or seek out threats just as zany as Wade himself.
Deadpool's comic awareness makes him conscious of the narrative threads around him, but it also gives him scope to accomplish the impossible. In his presence, characters will say and do things they'd never do elsewhere, despite his comics generally being considered mainstream canon. In this case, despite years of continuity depicting the Celestials as regal, near-omniscient beings unfathomable to humans, Deadpool managed to officially add Groffon to their ranks, blowing apart their cosmic mystique in the process.
