In celebration of the release of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, legendary game developer Hideo Kojima is hitting the road like a rock star. Kojima is the creator of the well-known stealth shooter Metal Gear Solid series, as well as the 2019 Death Stranding. The protagonist, courier Sam Porter Bridges (played by Norman Reedus), will return in the sequel to continue the quest to forge new connections and save humanity from extinction.
Sam isn't the only one who'll be heading out on a long journey this June: A press release reveals that Kojima and co. will be visiting 12 locations around the world to celebrate the release of the sequel to Death Stranding. The planned locations and some of the dates have been revealed, though not much information is known yet about what this world tour will entail. The world tour will accompany the release of Death Stranding 2, which will launch as a PlayStation 5 exclusive on June 26.

Expect Exciting Things From Death Stranding 2 World Tour
A Video Game Release World Tour Is A Very Kojima Thing To Do
We don't know much about what this "world tour" will look like, how exclusive (or expensive) it will be, or who will accompany Kojima on the journey. It's highly likely that the game creator will be ed by some of the star-studded cast of the sequel, like Norman Reedus (as Sam), Léa Seydoux (as Fragile), and Elle Fanning (as Tomorrow, who some speculate is a grown-up version of Baby Lou).
However, no matter what these events look like, we can certainly expect that they'll be exciting and unique. Kojima has already stated that the villain character of Death Stranding 2 will be "100 times better" than the first game and "so ridiculous," so it stands to reason that the events surrounding its release will also give fans something to .
