Per Prime Video, a Creed TV series has officially been greenlit. The show will be called Delphi, and take place in the Creed franchise's Delphi Gym, focusing on younger boxers. The showrunner will be Marco Ramírez, and Michael B. Jordan will serve as one of the show's executive producers. Other executive producers include Liz Raposo, Irwin Winkler, David Winkler, and Charles Winkler.

How Will Delphi Be Connected To The Creed & Rocky Universe?

Delphi will be the first TV show within the Creed franchise. In 2023, it was announced the Rocky and Creed characters remains to be seen.

The announcement did not say that Jordan would be an actor in the show, despite him being the lead in the Creed trilogy. His role as executive producer, however, will allow him to continue his behind-the-scenes career. Though he is primarily known for acting, Jordan made his directorial feature debut within the same franchise, helming Creed III. Prior to this, he also had racked up several executive producer credits, including Fahrenheit 451, Creed II, and Just Mercy. By producing again for Delphi, Jordan will further establish himself as a multi-hyphenate talent.

Michael B. Jordan Should Be In The Show In Some Way

I do hope that Delphi includes Jordan on screen in some way, even if it is just for a cameo appearance. After all, part of what made Creed enjoyable is that it showed the ing of the torch, from one generation of boxing legends to a new one. Now, a decade after this franchise began, Adonis could serve as a mentor for the next generation of athletes, who would likely be inspired by his journey. As more news develops on Delphi, it will be interesting to see where the plot focus is.
