Created by Chester Gould, Dick Tracy was a tough-talking, no-nonsense lawman, allegedly inspired by real-life detective Eliot Ness. The strip quickly became a hit, with merchandise soon following. Dick Tracy has appeared in several different live-action interpretations, including Disney's Dick Tracy movie in 1990 starring Warren Beatty. Dick Tracy has also appeared in comic books, with the last, by Michael and Lee Allred, published in 2018. Dick Tracy has had a long and colorful career, and now it is his time to return.
